Saint-Pierre-les-Dames (L'Abbaye royale de Saint-Pierre-les-Dames de Reims) was a convent of Benedictine nuns established in the city of Reims for over a thousand years, from the early Middle Ages to the time of the French Revolution. The monastery was certainly in existence by the reign of Charlemagne, and according to some sources dated from as early as the 6th century, although it has been argued that the earlier date could be due to confusion with a different and shorter-lived monastery in the city, also dedicated to St Peter.Renée de Lorraine (1522–1602), daughter of Claude, Duke of Guise, was abbess for 56 years, from 1546 to her death, throughout the French Wars of Religion. In 1560 her sister, Mary of Guise, mother of Mary, Queen of Scots, was buried in the abbey church. During the same year, Mary Queen of Scots herself spent some time in the abbey when mourning the death of her first husband, Francis II of France, as well as her mother, and she donated his prayer book to the monastery library.

The Carnegie Library of Reims (French: Bibliothèque Carnegie de Reims) is a public library built with money donated by businessman and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie to the city of Reims after World War I. Reims was one of three "front-line" cities to be given a Carnegie library, the other two being Leuven and Belgrade (Belgrade University Library). Built in the 1920s, it combined the mission of heritage conservation and of reading public library. Until 2003, the Carnegie Library was the main library of Reims. The Art Deco decor of the Carnegie Library, the harmony of its proportions, the elegance of its architecture made it worthy of inclusion in the French inventory of Monuments historiques.

The Palace of Tau (French: Palais du Tau) in Reims, France, was the palace of the Archbishop of Reims. It is associated with the kings of France, whose coronation was held in the nearby cathedral of Notre-Dame de Reims and the following coronation banquet in the palace itself. Because of its historical importance for the French monarchy, the Palace of Tau was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991. Today, it serves to host cultural events for the city of Reims. In recent years it has been the setting for Sciences Po Paris's RIMUN association's annual gala.

The Archdiocese of Reims (traditionally spelt "Rheims" in English) (Latin: Archidiœcesis Remensis; French: Archidiocèse de Reims) is a Latin Church ecclesiastic territory or archdiocese of the Catholic Church in France. Erected as a diocese around 250 by St. Sixtus of Reims, the diocese was elevated to an archdiocese around 750. The archbishop received the title "primate of Gallia Belgica" in 1089. In 1023, Archbishop Ebles acquired the Countship of Reims, making him a prince-bishop; it became a duchy and a peerage between 1060 and 1170. The archdiocese comprises the arrondissement of Reims and the département of Ardennes while the province comprises the former région of Champagne-Ardenne. The suffragan dioceses in the ecclesiastical province of Reims are Amiens; Beauvais, Noyon, and Senlis; Châlons; Langres; Soissons, Laon, and Saint-Quentin; and Troyes. The archepiscopal see is located in the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Reims, where the Kings of France were traditionally crowned. In 2014 it was estimated that there was one priest for every 4,760 Catholics in the diocese. Pope Francis appointed Éric de Moulins-Beaufort Archbishop of Reims in 2018.

Notre-Dame de Reims (; French: [nɔtʁə dam də ʁɛ̃s] ; meaning "Our Lady of Reims"), known in English as Reims Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the French city of the same name, the archiepiscopal see of the Archdiocese of Reims. The cathedral was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was the traditional location for the coronation of the kings of France. Reims Cathedral is considered to be one of the most important pieces of Gothic architecture. The cathedral, a major tourist destination, receives about one million visitors annually. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.The cathedral church is thought to have been founded by the bishop Nicasius in the early 5th century. Clovis was baptized a Christian here by Saint Remigius, the bishop of Reims, about a century later. He was the first Frankish king to receive this sacrament. Construction of the present Reims Cathedral began in the 13th century and concluded in the 14th century. A prominent example of High Gothic architecture, it was built to replace an earlier church destroyed by fire in 1210. Although little damaged during the French Revolution, the present cathedral saw extensive restoration in the 19th century. It was severely damaged during World War I and the church was again restored in the 20th century. Since the 1905 law on the separation of church and state, the cathedral has been owned by the French state, while the Catholic church has an agreement for its exclusive use. The French state pays for its restoration and upkeep.

The Labyrinth of the Reims Cathedral was a church labyrinth installed on the floor of the nave of the Reims Cathedral.

The Place Royale (French pronunciation: [plas ʁwajal], meaning "Royal Square") is a square in Reims, France. A bronze statue of King Louis XV stands in its center, commissioned by the city from the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Pigalle and inaugurated on 26 August 1765, depicting "the sovereign in Roman garb, with laurels on his head and one hand extended 'to take the people under his protection.'" The square is a monument historique of France.

Saint-Joseph of Reims is a private state-supported Catholic primary and secondary school, located in Reims, in the Marne department of the Grand Est region of France. The co-educational school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1874. The school is located between Capuchin, Venice, 'Équerre, and Moulins streets in Reims. It enrolls 1,250 students from kindergarten through baccalaureate and houses 340 boarding students.

The former Jesuit College of Reims is a 16th century building located in Reims in the Marne, a French department in the Champagne area of the Grand Est region. Founded in 1608 by Jesuits, the college was closed in 1762 when the Jesuits were banished from France. The buildings were used for other educational projects during the 19th century. Since 1976 they have belonged to the City of Reims, which has used it to provide a space for various regional and international organisations. Its library and refectory are recognised monuments of Baroque art.

The Protestant Church of Reims (French: Temple protestant de Reims) is a large Protestant church in Reims, France, built in 1921–1923 to replace an earlier building that had been destroyed during World War I (1914–1918). The building is in flamboyant Neo-Gothic style. Originally the interior was decorated with Art Deco frescoes, but these deteriorated and have been painted over.

The Museum of Fine Arts (French: Musée des beaux-arts) is a fine arts museum in Reims, France.

The Reims Opera House (French: Opéra de Reims, IPA: [opeʁa də ʁɛ̃s]), historically known as the Grand Théâtre ("Grand Theater"), was built in 1873 over designs by Alphonse Gosset, in Reims, France. Its architecture was "explicitly inspired by the Paris opera house, then still under construction", especially the terraced roof. "It is notable for its opulent symbolic ornamentation on the theme of music and the lyric arts." The building was burnt down during World War I and rebuilt in 1931–1932 with an interior by François Maille and Louis Sollier. The auditorium's ceiling surrounding the chandelier was painted by René Rousseau-Decelle. The chandelier, 7.5 metres (25 ft) wide, was realized by Edgar Brandt.
