The Town of Milwaukee Town Hall was built in 1872 in what is now Glendale, Wisconsin. It was the seat of government of the Town of Milwaukee, Wisconsin until the town ceased to exist after portions of it were annexed into different municipalities. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.The Town of Milwaukee was formed in 1838, basically the northern half of what is now Milwaukee County, reaching to Greenfield Avenue. It was then largely farmlands, settled by farmers mostly of German, Swiss, French and Dutch origins. In the early years, the town officers met once a year in homes or taverns, but in 1872 the town decided to build its own hall. For $1000, Louis Severin constructed the hall at the corner of what are now Bender Road and Port Washington Road, a fairly simple one-story frame building with a front porch supported by chamfered posts and a lunette window in each gable end.Over the years the surrounding cities and suburbs annexed bits of the rural Town of Milwaukee until in 1950, the City of Glendale was incorporated out of half of the remainder. With that, the Town dissolved and more of it was annexed by Glendale. By 1962, the town hall was deteriorating and its site on Bender Road was wanted for a water filtration plant. Avoiding demolition, it was moved in 1963 to its current site and restored by the Glendale Women's Club. Today it serves as a museum and occasional meeting room.

Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid (Hebrew: בית ישראל) is an egalitarian Conservative synagogue located at 6880 North Green Bay Road in Glendale, Wisconsin, a suburb north of Milwaukee. Founded in 1884 as Congregation B'ne Jacob, the congregation split, re-amalgamated, and went bankrupt before re-organizing as Beth Israel in 1901. The synagogue building it constructed on Teutonia Avenue in 1925, and sold in 1959, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. The current building was constructed in three phases, completed in 1962, 1966, and 1980.Solomon Scheinfeld was the congregation's first permanent rabbi, serving in 1892, and again from 1902 until his death in 1943. Herbert Panitch joined Beth Israel as rabbi in 1970, and served until his retirement in 1995. Jacob Herber became rabbi in 2003, and Rabbi Joel Alter in 2018.As of 2011 Beth Israel was the only synagogue in Milwaukee associated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. They then merged with Temple Beth El Ner Tamid to create Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid. The rabbi was Herber, and the rabbi emeritus was Panitch.

Nicolet High School is a public secondary school located in Glendale, Wisconsin. It is the only school in the Nicolet Unified School District, which serves Glendale, Fox Point, Bayside, and River Hills. Primary schooling is administered by three feeder districts. The Nicolet Unified School district is one of the few school districts in Wisconsin to be made up of only one school. Its main feeder schools are Milwaukee Jewish Day School, Glen Hills Middle School, Maple Dale Middle School, and Bayside Middle School.

Eastbrook Academy is a non-denominational private Christian school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grade that provides a classical Christian education.Eastbrook Academy obtains almost half its funding from public money through the Milwaukee school voucher program.

Bayshore (formerly called Bayshore Mall and Bayshore Town Center) is an open-air shopping mall/mixed use complex including retail shops, restaurants, offices and residential units in Glendale, Wisconsin. It is currently anchored by Barnes & Noble and Kohl's, along with one of the Milwaukee area's two Apple Stores. In June 2020 it was announced that Total Wine & More would be taking over the space previously occupied by a Sports Authority. Later in June it was also announced that a 2-story Target store would be opening in the former Boston Store space. Originally an outdoor strip mall built in 1954, it was converted into an enclosed mall in 1974. By 1989, it held the last remaining location of local department store T. A. Chapman Co.The first of two major redevelopments began in 2006, Bayshore Town Center was redeveloped into a mixed use center. It has 113 residential apartments, along with 1.3 million square feet of retail and restaurant space. In February in preparation of the next redevelopment, some stores began to move to new locations in the mall.

WLUM-FM (102.1 MHz) is a commercial radio station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The station airs an Alternative rock music format branded as "FM 102/1" (previously "FM_102/1"). Its studios are located in Menomonee Falls and the transmitter site is in Milwaukee's North Side at Lincoln Park. The station is owned by the estate of former Green Bay Packer Willie Davis and his company, All-Pro Broadcasting. All-Pro has owned the station since 1979. WLUM is run as a partnership with co-owned WZTI and Shamrock Broadcasting's WLDB as a group called the Milwaukee Radio Alliance.

WISN-TV (channel 12) is a television station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, affiliated with ABC. Owned by Hearst Television, it is the second-oldest television station to remain with the company in all of its various iterations behind flagship WBAL-TV in Baltimore. WISN-TV's studios are located on North 19th Street on the west end of the Marquette University campus, and its transmitter is located at Lincoln Park in the northeastern part of Milwaukee (next to the Weigel Broadcasting tower, which is used by CBS affiliate WDJT-TV, channel 58, and its sister stations).

The stations share studios in the Renaissance Center office complex on South 60th Street in West Allis (with a Milwaukee postal address), while WDJT-TV's transmitter is located in Milwaukee's Lincoln Park.

The stations share studios in the Renaissance Center office complex on South 60th Street in West Allis (with a Milwaukee postal address), while WYTU-LD's transmitter is located in Milwaukee's Lincoln Park (next to the transmitter belonging to ABC affiliate WISN-TV, channel 12). Due to its low-power status, its broadcasting radius does not reach all of southeastern Wisconsin. Therefore, the station can also be seen through a 16:9 widescreen standard definition simulcast on WDJT-TV's fourth digital subchannel in order to reach the entire market. This relay signal can be seen on channel 58.4 from the same Lincoln Park transmitter facility. WYTU is also relayed on WMYS-LD (channel 69.2) in South Bend, Indiana, and WFBN-LD (channel 35.2) in Rockford, Illinois. The station airs all of Telemundo's schedule, along with Spanish-language coverage of Sunday afternoon Milwaukee Brewers baseball home games, using camera positions shared with Bally Sports Wisconsin. WYTU-LD is also available via Charter Spectrum's systems throughout their entire state service area as far west as La Crosse and as far north as Bayfield, making for a rare example of an intra-region superstation in the digital age.

WRNW (97.3 FM) is a sports radio station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin owned and operated by iHeartMedia. WRNW's studios are located with iHeartMedia's other Milwaukee operations in rural-suburban Greenfield, with their transmitter located with the WISN-TV tower in Milwaukee's Lincoln Park.
