Hennessy Road (Chinese: 軒尼詩道) is a thoroughfare on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It connects Yee Wo Street on the east in Causeway Bay, at the junction with East Point Road, Jardine's Bazaar and Great George Street in East Point, through Bowrington, to Queensway on its western end in Wan Chai. It is a two-way road with two to three lanes of traffic on each side, which is shared by tram services. The road was built in the 20th century and is 1.86 kilometres (1.16 mi) in length. The road is named after John Pope Hennessy, the Governor of Hong Kong between 1877 and 1882. The portion of the road passing through Causeway Bay was one of the locations occupied during the 2014 Hong Kong protests.

Southorn Playground is a sports and recreational ground in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It comprises a football pitch, four basketball courts, and a children's playground. Southorn Playground is bounded by Hennessy Road to the north, Luard Road to the west, Johnston Road to the south, and buildings to the east. It has been Wan Chai's main recreational area since the 1930s. It was named in 1934 after Sir Wilfrid Thomas Southorn, the Colonial Secretary from 1925 to 1936. Though the site is not big, it is often used for district functions such as fun fairs and sports matches. It is also popular among local residents as a place for daily relaxation and socialisation.

Lockhart Road (Chinese: 駱克道) is a street spanning the whole length of Wan Chai from east to west on the Hong Kong Island of Hong Kong. It begins at Arsenal Street in the west and ends in East Point Road in East Point.

Luard Road (Chinese: 盧押道) is a north–south running street in the Wan Chai District of Hong Kong. It runs from Gloucester Road to the north, to Johnston Road to the south. It passes by Southorn Playground to the east of the road.

Jaffe Road (Chinese: 謝斐道) is a road in Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. It starts from Arsenal Street near Admiralty and ends at The Excelsior Hotel near World Trade Centre. It runs generally parallel to Gloucester and Lockhart roads.

Lee Tung Street (Chinese: 利東街), known as the Wedding Card Street (喜帖街; 囍帖街) by locals, was a street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The street was famed in Hong Kong and abroad as a centre for publishing and for the manufacturing of wedding cards and other similar items. All interests of this street were resumed by and reverted to the Government of Hong Kong since 1 November 2005. Lee Tung Street was demolished in December 2007 as part of an Urban Renewal Authority (URA) project. The demolition was seen by many as causing irreparable harm to the cultural heritage of Hong Kong. The site has recently been redeveloped as a luxury shopping and housing development. As with all other URA projects, no original tenants have been resettled on site.

Amoy Street (Chinese: 廈門街) is a street in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It connects Johnston Road in the north to Queen's Road East in the south. Amoy is an old name of the Chinese city of Xiamen. It has been described as "shy and retiring" by Time Out because it is a cul-de-sac with steps at one end.

Spring Garden Lane is a street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, connecting Queen's Road East to its south, and Johnston Road to the north. It was one of the first focal areas developed by the British in Hong Kong during the 1840s.

Thomson Road (traditional Chinese: 譚臣道; simplified Chinese: 谭臣道; pinyin: Tánchén Dào; Cantonese Yale: taam4 san4 dou6) is a road in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It was named on 30 October 1931 after Alexander MacDonald Thomson, a Colonial Treasurer of Hong Kong from 1899 to 1918. It has been separated into two sections since Southorn Playground was built in 1932.

Swatow Street (Chinese: 汕頭街) is a street in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong island, Hong Kong. It intersects with Queen's Road East and Johnston Road. It is named after Shantou.

The City of Victoria, often called Victoria City or simply Victoria, was the de facto capital of Hong Kong during its time as a British dependent territory. It was initially named Queenstown but was soon known as Victoria. It was one of the first urban settlements in Hong Kong and its boundaries are recorded in the Laws of Hong Kong. All government bureaux and many key departments still have their head offices located within its limit. Present-day Central is at the heart of Victoria City. Although the city expanded over much of what is now Kennedy Town, Shek Tong Tsui, Lung Fu Shan, Sai Ying Pun, Sheung Wan, Wan Chai, Happy Valley, the Mid-Levels, East Point and parts of Causeway Bay, the name Victoria has been eclipsed by Central in popular usage. However, the name is still used in places such as Victoria Park, Victoria Peak, Victoria Harbour, Victoria Prison, and a number of roads and streets. It is also retained in the names of various organisations such as the Victoria City District of the Hong Kong Scout, and the Victoria Junior Chamber. The name Victoria District Court had been used into the 1980s, when it was moved to the Wanchai Tower and combined with other district courts in the territory.

Johnston Road (traditional Chinese: 莊士敦道; simplified Chinese: 庄士敦道; Jyutping: jong1 si6 deun1 dou6; pinyin: Zhuāngshìdūn Dào) is a major road in Wan Chai on the Hong Kong Island of Hong Kong.
