Wickhamford is a village and a civil parish in Worcestershire, England. It is situated on the A44 road approximately halfway between the towns of Evesham and Broadway. It is mentioned in 1086 in the Domesday Book under the name of Wiquene when it was owned by Evesham Abbey.

Childswickham is a village in Worcestershire, England, situated within the flat open landscape of the Vale of Evesham, between the Bredon and Cotswold Hills, two miles from Broadway. It is within the boundaries of the historic county of Gloucestershire. It is an area predominantly of market gardening, arable and pasture land, with surrounding fields defined by hedgerows. Being on the edge of the North Cotswolds it has a mixture of building styles, from Cotswold limestone to red brick, to the more traditional Worcestershire black and white half timber and thatch. The earliest buildings are timber framed with wattle and daub and Cotswold limestone. The name Childswickham is believed to have derived from 'Child', the young son of a nobleman, 'wick', a clearing in the wood and 'ham', short for hamlet. Its history can be traced back to Roman times as coins and pottery of this era were found in fields on the old Roman road from Worcester to London which came through the village. The 15th century spire of the original Norman church, St Mary the Virgin, is a local landmark and can be seen for several miles. Childswickham was a part of Gloucestershire until 1931.

Vale of Evesham School in Evesham, in the county of Worcestershire, England, is a special needs school for around 150 mixed gender pupils aged 3 to 19 of whom approximately 35 are in the 6th form. It caters for children with special educational needs and also accommodates 15 pupils as boarders on a weekly basis.Pupils follow a curriculum based on National Curriculum core subjects together with activities that offer education for pupils having special moderate to severe learning difficulties that include a wide range of disabilities from autism, behavioural, emotional and social problems. The school was granted specialist status for cognition and learning and awards include Investors in People, Careers Education and Guidance Quality Mark, ArtsMark, Eco School and the Healthy School Award. The school converted to academy status in April 2013. A December 2009 Ofsted report classed the school with a Grade 2 (good), with several points at Grade 1 (outstanding).In November 2019 Ofsted report classed the school as Inadequate listing "serious, widespread failings in safeguarding children" finding staff members employed with criminal records unbeknown to senior leaders, students accessing and administering medication unaccompanied, and defective fire doors and lack of regular risk assessments.<

Laverton Halt railway station was a halt on the Honeybourne Line from Honeybourne to Cheltenham which served the hamlet of Laverton in Gloucestershire between 1905 and 1960. The line through the site of the now-demolished station, lifted after the route's full closure in 1976, has been relaid by the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, with the first service to the site running on 30 March 2011. Whilst the station has not been rebuilt, a run-round was constructed at the site, which has now been removed (May 2016) ready for the extension to Broadway station.

The cluster of cottages and farmhouses are built of local Cotswold stone, the oldest dating back at least to the 17th century. A long distance path crosses the village.
