The Augustinian Church (German: Augustinerkirche), also called the Augustinian Abbey (Augustinerkloster) or Abbey Church of St John the Baptist and John the Evangelist (Klosterkirche St. Johannes der Täufer und Johannes der Evangelist) is a former church in Munich, southern Germany. Constructed during the 13th century and expanded during the next two centuries, it was the Abbey Church of the Augustinian hermits in the city.

The Polizeipräsidium München (Munich Police Department) is part of the Bavarian State Police. It consists of 7,100 officers and is located in Munich, Germany. The headquarters was established on October 1, 1975, being reorganized from the city police (Stadtpolizei München).

The Old Academy (German: Alte Akademie), also called Wilhelminum, is a building in the center of Munich, Germany. Dating from the 16th century, it has a Renaissance facade and four inner courtyards.

The Karmelitenkirche or Carmelite Church of St. Nicholas is a Baroque former church at Karmeliterstraße in Munich, Germany. It was built in 1654 to plans by Hans Konrad Asper by Marx Schinnagl as a replacement for the old Carmelite Church. The monastery church was consecrated in 1660. Today it is used as an oratory for the library and reading room of the Metropolitan Chapter of Munich. It is also used for the Archives of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising.

The Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) is an art museum in Munich's old town, Germany.

The Kaufingertor was one of the five city gates built around at the end of the 12th century, as the first city walls of medieval Munich. It was located in the west of the old town, approximately at the point where today's Färbergraben and Augustinerstraße meet on Kaufingerstraße.

Damenstiftskirche St. Anna is a chapel in Munich, southern Germany.It was commissioned in the 18th century by Elector Charles Albert (later the Emperor Charles VII) and the cornerstone was laid in 1733. A monastery in the legal form of a chapter of nuns was set up. The architect was Johann Baptist Gunetzrhainer, while the Asam brothers were responsible for the interior. The women's collegiate church was consecrated in 1735.All but the outer walls were destroyed in World War II. The interior was restored from old photographs in 1980, but the murals are now painted in black and white.

Neuhauser Straße is part of the first and largest pedestrian zone in Munich's Old Town. Here, many retail shops and restaurants are to be found.

Altstadt (Central Bavarian: Oidstod) and Lehel (Central Bavarian: Lechl) are districts of the German city of Munich. Together they form the first borough of the city: Altstadt-Lehel.

The Trinity Church is a religious building in Munich, southern Germany. It is a votive church and was designed in Bavarian Baroque style according to plans from Giovanni Antonio Viscardi from 1711 to 1718. It is a monastery church of the Carmelites and a church of the Metropolitan parish of Our Blessed Lady. During the Second World War this was the only church in the center of Munich, which had been spared from destruction by bombs. A pledge was kept (due to the prophecy of Anna Maria Lindmayr); people hoped to be spared by the Austrians during the Spanish Succession war.
