Bryan Tower

The City Center District is an area in north-central downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). It lies south of the Arts District, north of the Main Street District, northwest of Deep Ellum, southwest of Bryan Place and east of the West End Historic District. The district contains a large concentration of downtown commercial space which prior to 1950 had been concentrated along Main Street. The district also contains remnants of Theatre Row, the historical entertainment area along Elm Street which contained theatres such as the Majestic Theatre.

The Harwood Center is an American skyscraper at 1999 Bryan Street in Dallas, Texas. The building rises 483 feet (147 m). It contains 36 floors, and was completed in 1982. Harwood Center currently stands as the 21st-tallest building in the city. The architectural firm who designed the building was WZMH Architects, the firm who designed the CN Tower in Toronto.

St. Paul station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located on Bryan Street, between St. Paul and Harwood Streets, near the Arts District in Downtown Dallas. It opened on June 14, 1996, and is a station on the Red, Orange, Green and Blue lines, serving the Trammell Crow Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, Patriot Tower and First Baptist Church. St. Paul station takes its name from its namesake street, which received its name in the 1930s, not out of religious interest, but as a protest against the Volstead Act, a national law that banned alcoholic beverages. The city fathers located a passage in the Bible, attributed to St. Paul, that said "drink a little wine, for your stomach's sake".

One Dallas Center (formerly Patriot Tower) is a modernist skyscraper located in the City Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas, completed in 1979. The building has 30 floors and rises 448 feet (137 meters). One Dallas Center is currently tied with the Sheraton Dallas Hotel North Tower as the 25th-tallest building in the city. The building was originally planned as part of a three-building complex designed by I.M. Pei & Partners, but only one tower was constructed. One Dallas Center is now owned by Todd Interests and houses the headquarters of HKS Inc., Greyhound, and Apex Clearing Corporation. The first 15 floors of the high rise are renovated office space, while the top 15 floors are luxury apartment homes constructed and delivered in October 2014. One Dallas Center is professionally managed by Lincoln Property Company.

The Sheraton Dallas Hotel, formerly the Adam's Mark Hotel and originally the Southland Center, is a complex of International Style skyscrapers located in the City Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas. The hotel is the largest and second tallest hotel in Dallas and Texas with 1,840 guest rooms and 260,000 sq ft (24,000 m2) of meeting space. It has been host to pop culture conventions such as Project A-Kon and TwiCon.

The City of Dallas acquired the land with help from the Trust for Public Land.

717 Harwood is a skyscraper in Downtown Dallas, Texas. The building rises 481 feet (147 meters). It contains 34 floors, and was completed in 1980. 717 Harwood currently stands as the 22nd-tallest building in the city. The building is well known for its sloping exterior glass walls, which slant inward from the building's top floor to ground level. 717 Harwood is owned by SKW Funding, a New York-based real estate investment firm.The building formerly housed the Dallas offices of KPMG, until their move in 2015 to the new KPMG Plaza tower.717 Harwood is home to the headquarters of HilltopSecurities which is a subsidiary of Hilltop Holdings Inc. Other tenants include Active Network, Lanyon and Omnitracs, and HOK.

Plaza of the Americas is a major commercial complex in the City Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). It is adjacent to DART's Pearl Station and connected to the Dallas Pedestrian Network.
