Moclips, Washington

The Moclips River is a river in the U.S. state of Washington. It is about 12 miles (19 km) long. Its main tributary, the North Fork Moclips River, is longer than the main stem. The length of the North Fork, along with the lower main stem below the North Fork's confluence, is 17 miles (27 km). The drainage basin of the Moclips River is 22.4 square miles (58 km2) in area.

Qui-nai-elt Village is a census-designated place (CDP) in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. The population was 54 at the 2010 census.The community is in the southwestern part of the Quinault Indian Nation in western Grays Harbor County, about 2 miles (3 km) east of the Pacific Ocean. It is bordered to the south by the community of Moclips. The Moclips Highway runs past the village, leading southwest to Moclips and northeast 19 miles (31 km) to U.S. Route 101 near Neilton.

Pacific Beach is a census-designated place (CDP) in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. The population was 291 at the 2010 census. Prior to 2010 it was part of the Moclips CDP.

Seabrook is an unincorporated planned community in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. Founded in 2004 by developers Casey and Laura Roloff, Seabrook is a beach town based on the concept of New Urbanism.Seabrook has a town hall, a Montessori school, and as of 2023 had 18 parks. A majority of its homes are vacation rentals. A grocery store and business district opened in 2023. A major expansion with 1,300 homes and a hotel began construction in 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in 2025. Future plans include a medical clinic, school, and a regenerative farm.

Pacific Beach State Park is a public recreation area in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The 17-acre (6.9 ha) state park offers 2,300 feet (700 m) of Pacific Ocean beachfront and activities that include picnicking, camping, fishing, swimming, clam digging, and beachcombing.

Aloha is an unincorporated community in Grays Harbor County, in the U.S. state of Washington. It is located two miles east of the Pacific Ocean at Beaver Creek in west central Grays Harbor County.

Santiago is a census-designated place (CDP) in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. The population was 42 at the 2010 census.The community is in the Quinault Indian Nation in western Grays Harbor County, along State Route 109, next to the Pacific Ocean. SR 109 leads north 5 miles (8 km) to its northern terminus at Taholah and south 5 miles (8 km) to Moclips. Point Grenville, a 120-foot-high (37 m) cliff rising from the ocean, is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of Santiago and is the site of the Quinault Nations' Haynisisoos Park. The Copalis National Wildlife Refuge occupies the ocean and rocks seaward from the coastline along Santiago and environs. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Santiago CDP has an area of 1.57 square miles (4.06 km2), all of it land.

Point Grenville is a headland of Washington state. The point was named Punta de los Mártires ("Point of the Martyrs") during the 1775 expedition of Bruno de Heceta in response to an attack by the local Quinault Indians. This site is sacred to the Quinault and was developed to host the 2013 Paddle to Quinault.

Copalis State Airport (FAA LID: S16) is a state owned, public use airport in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. Formerly known as Copalis Beach State Airport, it is located near Copalis Beach, Washington.The airstrip is located on an ocean beach near the mouth of the Copalis River, in the North Beach Seashore Conservation Area, adjacent to the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary. It is the only airport in Washington State where landing on the beach is legal.

Griffiths-Priday State Park (formerly Griffiths-Priday Ocean State Park) is a 364-acre (147 ha) state-operated, public recreation area at the mouth of the Copalis River on the Pacific Ocean in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The park has beach, low dunes, and 8,316 feet (2,535 m) of ocean shoreline plus 9,950 feet (3,030 m) of freshwater river shoreline along both the Copalis River and the adjacent Connor Creek. The park includes the Copalis Spit, a small peninsula that serves as refuge for migratory birds. Park activities include picnicking, fishing, clam digging, beachcombing, birdwatching, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing, including migratory gray whales.

The Copalis River is a stream on the Olympic Peninsula in the U.S. state of Washington. It originates in the foothills on the southwest side of the Olympic Mountains and empties into the Pacific Ocean. The name "Copalis" comes from the Quinault language term /k'ʷpíls/. The Copalises are a Native American group. Both the Chehalis people and Quinault Indian Nation claim the Copalis are a subdivision of their tribe.
