Vermont is an unincorporated community in Howard Township, Howard County, Indiana, United States platted in January 1848. The founders also then already had a store set up in Vermont. In the late 19th century it was a German campground. Vermont was in the flooding zone when the Wildcat Creek Reservoir was constructed in 1957, and it never recovered from that. Vermont was once the home of the "Vermont Covered Bridge" which now sits in Highland Park in Kokomo, Indiana. It is part of the Kokomo Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Darrough Chapel is an unincorporated community in Center Township, Howard County, Indiana, United States. Named after Darrough Chapel Church, it has been in existence since at least 1894. It is part of the Kokomo, Indiana, Metropolitan Statistical Area. Darrough Chapel lies outside the city limits of Kokomo, and according to a March 11, 2011, report in the Kokomo Perspective, "At present, Darrough Chapel is excluded from all annexation proposals that have been made by the city."

Cassville is an unincorporated community in Howard Township, Howard County, Indiana, United States. It is part of the Kokomo, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area and located approximately 5.9 miles from downtown Kokomo.

Markland Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Kokomo, Indiana. Opened in 1968, the mall's anchor stores are Target, Dunham's Sports, Books-A-Million, Carter's, PetSmart, Party City, Ross Dress for Less, ALDI, and Gravity Trampoline Park. In 2020 Dunham’s Sports took over the space that was occupied by Carson's. It is managed by Washington Prime Group.

WWKI (100.5 FM) is a commercial radio station in Kokomo, Indiana. It is owned by Cumulus Media and it broadcasts a country radio format, calling itself 100.5 KI. The studios are at 519 N. Main St. in downtown Kokomo. WWKI has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 50,000 watts, the current maximum in most of Indiana. The transmitter is on East County Road 200 South near the Kokomo Creek.The station can be heard at most as far south as Northern Hamilton county aswell as Indianapolis and donut counties surrounding Kokomo. It can also be picked up in Peru Indiana and the signal can be picked up as far north as Rochester Indiana

The Kokomo High School and Memorial Gymnasium is a historic high school and gymnasium located at Kokomo, Indiana, United States. It is a work of architect Elmer Dunlap and others, in Late Gothic Revival and Streamline Moderne architectural styles. It has also been known as the Central Middle School and Memorial Gymnasium. The NRHP listing included three contributing buildings on 8 acres (3.2 ha).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Liberty Township is one of eleven townships in Howard County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 4,737, down from 4,862 in 2010. Liberty Township hosts the Howard County fair each year in July in Greentown, which is the second biggest town in Howard County, and third biggest in the Kokomo Metropolitan Area after only Kokomo, and Tipton.

Kokomo Town Center, formerly Kokomo Mall, is an outdoor shopping mall in Kokomo, Indiana. Opened in 1963, the property was converted from an enclosed mall to an outdoor plaza in 2014. The plaza’s stores are Gabe's, AMC Theatres, Robert Miller & Son Furniture, Momentum Clothing & Accessories, Classy Nails, CosmoProf, and T-Mobile.

Lake Erie and Western Depot Historic District is a national historic district located at Kokomo, Indiana. The district includes seven contributing buildings and three contributing structures associated with the Lake Erie and Western Railroad train station at Kokomo. It includes the American Craftsman style passenger and freight depot (1916), a three-story Romanesque Revival style brick building with a limestone facade (1906), a three-story Romanesque influenced brick building (c. 1910), the massive three-story Neoclassical style S. Tudor & Co. building (c. 1905), "The Conwell" (1913), and three sets of railroad tracks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Kokomo Municipal Stadium is a baseball stadium in Kokomo, Indiana, United States. The Kokomo Jackrabbits of the college summer Northwoods League, and the Kokomo Wildkats (local high school) use Kokomo Municipal Stadium as their home field. Other local high school baseball teams including the Taylor Titans, Northwestern Tigers, and the Western Panthers use the Kokomo Municipal Stadium for a portion of their games. Upon opening in 2015, Kokomo Municipal Stadium had a capacity of up to 4,000 in a combination of fixed and lawn seating. In May 2016, the Kokomo Mantis FC of the Premier Development League called the stadium home.

Learner Building is a historic commercial building located in Kokomo, Indiana. It was built by John Wesley Learner around 1904, and is a two-story, red brick building with a sloping flat roof. Learner was a prominent businessman in Kokomo, though he himself never had a business in the building. The Learner Building is 11 bays wide and has three commercial storefronts. It is a good example of late-19th century commercial architecture and features bold vertical brick patterns and limestone coursing.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
