Georgetown is a census-designated place in Clay Township, St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 4,497 at the 2000 census. It is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka, IN-MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Clay High School is a public high school located in South Bend, Indiana. It is the Fine Arts school in the South Bend Community School Corporation magnet program.

Indian Village is a town in Clay Township, St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 133 at the 2010 Census. It is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka, IN-MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

University Park Mall is a shopping mall in metropolitan South Bend–Mishawaka metropolitan area (Mishawaka, Indiana, USA) and is owned by Simon Property Group. The anchors are Macy's, JCPenney and Barnes & Noble. The mall was originally anchored by a 122,632 sq ft (11,392.9 m2) Hudson's and a 152,922 sq ft (14,206.9 m2) L. S. Ayres. Hudson's became Marshall Field's in 1997, which closed in 2006 and was torn down in 2007. The L. S. Ayres store was renamed Macy's on September 9, 2006. The former Marshall Field's was replaced by an outdoor concourse anchored by Barnes & Noble. Sears, one of the original anchors of the mall when it first opened, closed during 2019.

Project GRAND is a cosmic ray observatory located on the University of Notre Dame campus. The observatory features a grid of sixty-four proportional wire chamber (PWC) particle detectors positioned within a 10,000 m2 field. Project GRAND was designed and built by Notre Dame professor emeritus John Poirier and his students. The observatory operated mainly between 1989 and 2011. Project GRAND detected cosmic rays from the sun and extrasolar sources. Project GRAND was also able to discern the effect of atmospheric temperature and pressure on cosmic ray surface counts.

Stepan Center is a multi-purpose geodesic dome built in 1962 at the University of Notre Dame, and is located on the northeast corner of campus. The $350,000 to build Stepan Center was donated to the university by Alfred Stepan, the founder of Stepan Company, and his wife, Mary Louise. The architect firm credited for the design is Ellerbe Associates, a Minneapolis, Minnesota based architectural firm, who handled a substantial amount of Notre Dame projects in that period.The dome consists of 600 sections of aluminum, and weighs 127 tons. The facility, which was one of the first geodesic dome built in the United States, has 21,000 square feet (2,000 m2) of floor space, and a seating capacity of 3,000. The center attracted widespread attention at its opening, according to a 2022 Notre Dame Magazine article. Time Magazine described the structure as resembling "a giant, gilded armadillo shell".

Johnson Family Hall is one of the 33 residence halls at the University of Notre Dame. It is located east of Dunne Hall and north of McCourtney Hall in the East Quadrangle. It is the newest residence hall, built in 2019-2020, after a donation from Todd & Susan Johnson. Its mascot is the valkyrie, and its colors are navy and light blue. It was opened during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 .

Dunne Hall is one of the newest of the 32 Residence Halls on the campus of the University of Notre Dame and one of the 16 male dorms. It is located on East Quad, between Pasquerilla East Hall and Johnson Family Hall. Built in 2016 together with its twin dorm Flaherty Hall, it was the first dorm built since Ryan Hall in 2009.

Maple Lane is an unincorporated community in Clay Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States.The community is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka IN-MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Flaherty Hall is one of the newest of the 32 Residence Halls on the campus of the University of Notre Dame and one of the 15 female dorms. It is located on Mod Quad, between Knott Hall and McCourtney Hall. Built in 2016 together with its twin dorm Dunne Hall, it was the first dorm built since Ryan Hall in 2009. The coat of arms is taken form the Flaherty family, with the bears (the hall mascot) replacing the Flaherty dragons.

Pasquerilla West is one of the 32 Residence Halls on the campus of the University of Notre Dame and one of the 14 dorms for women students. It is commonly known as PW or P-Dub. It is located on Mod Quad, between North Dining Hall and its twin dorm Pasquerilla East Hall.

Theodore Hesburgh Library is the primary building of the University of Notre Dame's library system. The present-day building opened on September 18, 1963, as Memorial Library. In 1987, it was renamed Hesburgh Library, in honor of Rev. Theodore Hesburgh, C.S.C., who served as the university's president from 1952 to 1987. The library's exterior façade that faces the university's football stadium includes a large, 134-foot (41 m) by 68-foot (21 m) mural called Word of Life, or more commonly known as Touchdown Jesus. As of 2009, the library ranked as the 61st largest collection among research universities in the United States, with an estimated 3.39 million volumes.
