Puttenahalli

Yelachenahalli is a municipal area (halli means "village" in Kannada) on Kanakpura Road, Bangalore, but has fast developed into a hub of development with malls and high rise buildings. Over the last few years, this area has transformed itself into an extension to the IT city. It is very near to JP Nagara, approx 10 km from MG Road, 15 km from Electronic city. The village was called as Elajeeyaraha Halli in the 14th Century.

Sarakki lake, also known as Jaraganahalli lake, is a lake in the southern part of Bangalore, India, in the suburb of the J. P. Nagar. It is one of the largest lakes in Bangalore and located on Puttenahalli main road. Sarakki is a portmanteau of the native Kannada language words, Saavira Hakki, which translates to "a thousand birds". The lake formerly covered an area of 84 acres (34 ha), 34 acres (14 ha) of which had been encroached by private builders and other establishments as of 2013. According to a survey conducted by the tehsildar of Bangalore South, 135 encroachments were made into the lake area, following which the High Court of Karnataka, in the case filed by the People's Campaign for Right to water, ordered for clearing the encroached area in August 2014. A 10-day eviction drive began in April 2015 after having issued notices to encroachers. The land reclaimed put estimates at ₹2,000 crore (US$260 million).In 2012, the Sarakki Lake Improvement Trust (SLAIT) was formed to make efforts towards reviving the lake.

The Indian Music Experience Museum (IME) is India's first interactive music museum, located in Jayaprakash Nagar, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka. Established in 2019, the museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing Indian musical heritage through interactive exhibits and educational programs. The non-profit institution is supported by the Brigade Group and occupies 50,000 square feet of space across three floors.

Jyothy Kendriya Vidyalaya is a co-educational English medium school located in Yelachenahalli, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore in India. It was established in 1989 by Late.Sri. B.N.V Subrahmanya in memory of his daughter Jyothy. The school is affiliated to the CBSE for 1st to 10th, and Karnataka PU board for 11th and 12th. The school is run by the Jyothy Charitable Trust. The trust is registered with the Commissioner of Income Tax, Karnataka-II under Section - 80 - G of the I.T. Act of exemption. The trust runs a fund to provide scholarships for meritorious students. Yelachenahalli is a Namma Metro station on the Green Line located on Kanakapura Road between Yelechenahalli and Konanakunte suburbs. It was opened to the public on 18 June 2017.Next to the Yelachenahalli Metro station, stands the electrical switch yard for the metro line. This area was earlier occupied by Shravanthi Kalyana Mantapa. The land was acquired by Namma Metro to build the Yelachenahalli Metro Station. The station also serves the residents of Reserve Bank Layout, Kumaraswamy Layout, ISRO Layout and neighborhoods beyond Konanakunte, like Kaggalipura.

Puttenahalli lake ( ಪುಟ್ಟೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕೆರೆ) is a small, restored freshwater lake located in JP Nagar 7th Phase, South Bangalore. The area of the lake is about 13 acres. The primary water sources are rain and surface water diverted to the lake through channels. The lake is currently maintained by Puttenahalli Neighbourhood Lake Improvement Trust (PNLIT) . The lake was on the brink of extinction, but due to the efforts of PNLIT, is now a haven for bird-watchers and on its way to being completely restored.

Konanakunte, formerly a census town, is a suburb of Bangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka.This area is was added to BBMP i.e. it was added to Bengaluru in 2014.This is a backward and poor area compared to the neighbouring areas such as ISRO layout and the prestigious JP nagar . There is a huge lack in basic facilities such as Cauvery water and proper roads.One thing where konankunte is good is at resale value as it is a backward area the growth percentage is quite high compared to already developed JP nagar.The MP of this area is DK Suresh(brother of DK Shivakumar,Former karnataka minister),mla for this area is M.Krishnappa , Corporator is Shashirekha Jayaram.
