Guilford, Vermont

The Guilford Center Meeting House, formerly the Guilford Center Universalist Church, is a historic building on Guilford Center Road in Guilford, Vermont. Built in 1837, it is a well-preserved example of transitional Greek Revival architecture. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is now owned by the local historical society as a community meeting and event space.

The Green River Covered Bridge is a covered bridge in western Guilford, Vermont. Built in the 1870s by Marcus Worden, it is a Town lattice truss bridge, carrying Green River Road over the eponymous river in a small rural village of the same name. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Green River Crib Dam is a historic 19th-century dam on the Green River in western Guilford, Vermont. Built about 1811, it is a reminder of the modest industrial enterprises once conducted in the area using the water power it provided, and is one of the state's few surviving crib dams. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Windham-1 Representative District is a one-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Windham-1 District includes all of the Windham County towns of Guilford and Vernon. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Windham-1 District had a population of 4,187 in that same census, 3.15% above the state average.

WVBA (88.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Brattleboro, Vermont. The station is owned by Vermont Public Radio, and is an affiliate of their News and Information network.

Christ Church is a historic church located at Melendy Hill Road and US Route 5 in Guilford, Vermont. Built in 1817 and later given Gothic Revival styling, it was the first Episcopal Church in Vermont. On May 13, 1982, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is now owned by the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont and maintained by a local nonprofit organization.

Algiers is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Guilford, Vermont, United States.

The Guilford Country Store is located at 475 Coolidge Highway (United States Route 5) in Guilford, Vermont, in the 1817 Broad Brook House, one of the oldest surviving tavern houses in the state, which has been in continuous use as a general store since 1936. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

The Tontine Building is a historic mixed-use commercial and residential building at 500 Coolidge Highway (United States Route 5) in Guilford, Vermont. Built in 1819, it is a rare example of a Federal period commercial building in southeastern Vermont, and is one of only three buildings in the state known to have been financed by a tontine, a subscription-based investment model. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. It has been rehabilitated and converted entirely into housing units.

The West Brattleboro Green Historic Districts encompasses the historic core of the village of West Brattleboro, Vermont. Centered in the triangular green at South Street and Western Avenue, it includes a modest collection of buildings constructed between about 1800 and 1910. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Lewis Grout House is a historic house on Western Avenue at Bonnyvale Road in West Brattleboro, Vermont. Built in about 1880 for a widely traveled minister, it is a well-preserved and somewhat late example of Gothic Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
