Evansville Christian School (ECS) is a private Christian school corporation with several locations throughout the Evansville, tri-state area in southwestern Indiana, USA. According to the Indiana Department of Education, ECS is an A-Rated, four-star school. It is fully accredited by the Indiana Department of Education, the Association of Christian Schools International and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.

Ascension St. Vincent Evansville (formerly St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center) is the flagship hospital of a health system in the Illinois–Indiana–Kentucky tri-state area located in Evansville, Indiana and is a level II trauma center. The system was started in 1872 and was formerly known as St. Mary's Health. St. Mary's Health was integrated into St. Vincent Health in 2012 to create one statewide, integrated healthcare ministry, with the name change effective in 2017. St. Vincent Health is a part of Ascension Health, the nation's largest nonprofit health system and the world's largest Catholic health system.

Washington Square Mall is a shopping mall located in Evansville, Indiana, United States. It opened October 31, 1963 and was the first enclosed shopping center in Indiana. Developed by Erie Investments, the mall was originally anchored by Sears and an A & P supermarket. Louisville-based Stewart Dry Goods was added, as a second anchor department store, in 1969. This store -as well as the entire chain- was merged with Indianapolis' L. S. Ayres chain in 1980. After the larger Eastland Mall opened in 1982, Washington Square struggled to retain stores. In 1987, the mall was remodeled and expanded to help it compete with the newer mall. The expansion was initially successful and the mall was sold a few years later to Facet Financial. Facing even more department store consolidation, L. S. Ayres closed in January 1992. The location was converted into a Dayton, Ohio–based Elder-Beerman, which held its grand opening in October 1993. This store was shuttered in December 2000, as Elder-Beerman said the mall "lacks a strong tenant base". As a result, vacancy rates at the mall climbed, with much business being lost to Eastland Mall. In 2002, the struggling Washington Square Mall was sold to local real estate developer Gene Hahn. A portion of the former Elder-Beerman store was home to a Values Unlimited discount mart between October 2004 and March 2007. In July 2010, Merchants Outlet Mall opened, utilizing all of the 2-level store space, until its two-year lease expired in 2012.Washington Square Mall was re-branded as Washington Square after it was purchased in November 2016 by a New York–based real estate developer. The new owner is doing business as Evansville Holdings LLC. Hahn Kiefer Real Estate Services will be the leasing agent and property manager. Over the next year improvements were slow to be made, but new parking lot lighting and signage have brought hope to nearby residents. On Thursday, January 4, 2018, Sears Holdings announced they were closing 103 stores nationwide, including their location in Washington Square. On April 8, 2018 the Sears location closed for good in Washington Square Mall. This left the mall with no anchor stores.In January 2023, Goodwill Corporation announced it had acquired one of the mall’s anchor sites where Sears previously resided, prior to its closing in 2018. This location will become the new Evansville Goodwill Corporate Headquarters.This new location will include their main offices and mission services, thrift store, processing area, drive through drop off site, and approximately 25,000 square feet reserved for a new program called The Excel Center®.Some of the newer staples of Washington Square include AnnaLe's Twice Chosen Bridal & Prom Consignment Shop, KC’s Timeout Lounge, Noble Romans Pizza, The Thrift Store by Evansville Rescue Mission, and Mission Grounds Coffee Shop.

William Henry Harrison High School, also known as Evansville Harrison High School, is a public high school on the east side of Evansville, Indiana. Students at Harrison come from the Plaza Park Middle School and McGary Middle School. Harrison High School opened in September, 1962. The school was named for William Henry Harrison, the ninth President of the United States.

Edgar A. Igelheart House is a historic home located at Evansville, Indiana. It was designed by Edward Joseph Thole and built in 1932. It is a French Renaissance château style painted brick dwelling consisting of a rectangular central section with flanking wings. It has a slate hipped roof. Also on the property are the contributing two sections of the Lant House, stable, garage (c. 1932), and cow barn.: 2–4 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Eastland Mall is a regional shopping mall located on North Green River Road in Evansville, Indiana. It is operated by the Macerich, a group which owns and develops malls around the United States. The mall has 130 specialty stores, three department stores, and a food court with a variety of fast food eateries and a TGI Friday's restaurant. The anchor stores are Macy's, Dillard's, and JCPenney. Sales per square foot in 2016 were $367, a decline from $402 in 2012. As the regional hub of the Illinois-Indiana-Kentucky Tri-State Area, retail sales per capita are 60% higher for Evansville than the state average and are the highest in the state. Total square footage for Eastland Mall is one million.

EVSC Double Cola Soccer Complex is a high school soccer complex located in Evansville, Indiana near the old site of Roberts Stadium. Owned and operated by the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, the facility serves as a home, or alternate field, for EVSC schools. Double Cola is the frequent host of the IHSAA soccer sectional 16.

Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve is a 240-acre (0.97 km2) nature preserve located in Evansville, Indiana. It is a National Natural Landmark and a State Nature Preserve owned by the City of Evansville and operated by the non-profit Wesselman Nature Society. The preserve consists of over 190 acres (0.77 km2) of virgin bottomland hardwood forest complemented by an additional 50 acres (200,000 m2) of younger forest, field, and pond. The woods consist of sweetgum, sugar maple, tulip tree, Shumard oak, and green ash throughout. It is the largest tract of virgin forest located inside any city limits in the United States.The oldest trees are over 400 years old. Among the largest of their species are 24 state champions and two national champion trees. One of the tallest trees in the state is a tulip tree located within the park. It is 147 feet (45 m) tall with a 13.2-foot (4.0 m) circumference and 81-foot (25 m) canopy.Animal species include squirrels, raccoons, gray foxes, coyote, and whitetail deer. The woods also serves as a refuge for a variety of woodpeckers and owls. A nature center welcomes visitors with interactive exhibits, animals, special events, wildlife observation areas, educational programs, summer camps, and a 3-acre (0.012 km2) nature playscape. The woods offer a variety of hiking trails of varying distances. The amphitheater near Odonata Pond may also be rented for outdoor activities. The Wesselman Nature Society also manages Howell Wetlands, a 23-acre (93,000 m2) wetlands property located at 1400 S. Tekoppel Avenue in the urban western area of Evansville.

Roberts Municipal Stadium was a multi-purpose arena in Evansville, Indiana, for sports, public events, and concerts. The arena was built in 1956. It seated up to 12,732 spectators and featured four locker rooms and a press room. On June 13, 1972, it hosted a concert by Elvis Presley. He then again performed at Roberts, for the second and last time on Oct. 24, 1976, breaking all existing attendance records, by drawing a crowd of 13,500. Roberts Stadium hosted concerts by musicians such as Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi, Bob Dylan, and Tool. The arena received a $16 million upgrade in 1990. In 2007, the city of Evansville hired a professional consultant to examine whether the stadium should be renovated or replaced with a new downtown arena. In December 2008, the Evansville city council approved plans to construct the new arena, which opened in the fall of 2011 as the Ford Center.It was co-managed with Mesker Amphitheatre, The Centre, and Victory Theatre. The building was demolished in 2013.

Metro Sports Center is a multi-purpose athletic facility located in Evansville, Indiana. The facility has one turfed walled indoor soccer field, fine volleyball court, oel, multi-sport court for volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, roller derby or floor hockey. There is also a private room for parties and meetings and two tenant spaces upstairs. Metro provides a climate controlled area for youth and adult sports programs, youth and adult parties as well as time slots for facility rentals.

Smythe is an unincorporated community in Knight Township, Vanderburgh County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.It is located within the city limits of Evansville.

Swonder Ice Arena is an arena and recreational sport facility in Evansville, Indiana. It features two NHL size sheets of ice for hockey, figure skating, and open skating. One sheet of ice is open all year. Sound and light, designed with the technology used at the 2002 Olympics, are in use when the skaters skate. Leagues for hockey from beginner to adult also take place year round. On the second level there is a 10,000-square-foot workout facility with a running/walking track.
