Washington Terrace, is a city in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 9,067 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. Washington Terrace had its foundings when it was developed in 1948 from a war time housing project. George Herman Van Leeuwen was instrumental in securing the land from the federal government and acted as the President of the Board of Directors. Due to his role in the organizing of the community, it was proposed to be named VanLeeuwenville, which was voted down for a variety of reasons.

McKay-Dee Hospital is a not-for-profit health system operated by Intermountain Healthcare. It is located in Ogden, Utah, United States. With 310 licensed beds, it is the 3rd largest hospital in the Intermountain system, and the 4th largest Hospital in Utah. Although not directly affiliated with the university, it is located just southwest of the main campus of Weber State University. McKay-Dee Hospital offers nationally ranked programs including the Heart and Vascular Institute and Newborn ICU. Other programs include the Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Center, McKay-Dee Spine Institute, Emergency and Trauma Services and the new Stewart Rehab Center. McKay-Dee Hospital serves northern Utah and portions of southeast Idaho and western Wyoming.

The Ice Sheet at Ogden

The Ice Sheet at Ogden, also known as the Weber County Ice Sheet, is located 35 miles (56 km) north of Salt Lake City on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden. The Ice Sheet opened in 1994 as a recreational training center for curling, ice hockey, and figure skating. During the 2002 Winter Olympics the Ice Sheet hosted the curling events. The Ice Sheet is also home to the Ogden Mustangs, a junior ice hockey team in the United States Premier Hockey League and Weber State University's men's hockey team. The facility, owned by Weber County, has hosted several World Curling Federation-sanctioned events. The Ice Sheet offers local competitions, public skating, lesson programs, hockey, curling, figure skating and speed skating, ice shows, and includes a pro shop, conference rooms, locker rooms, and an outdoor terrace for meetings.

Davis–Weber Canal

The Davis–Weber Canal (also known as the Davis and Weber Counties Canal) is a canal in southern Weber and northern Davis counties in northern Utah, United States, that flows around the north and west sides of Hill Air Force Base (Hill AFB), supplying water from the Weber River to the area.

Dee Events Center

Dee Events Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the western United States, located on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. The circular, 11,592-seat domed arena, similar in design to many of the era, opened 46 years ago in 1977 and was named for the Lawrence T. Dee family, for his extensive contributions in building the arena.

KNKL (FM)

KNKL (88.1 MHz) is a contemporary Christian music radio station in Tremonton, Utah, United States. The station is owned and operated by the Educational Media Foundation (EMF) and broadcasts EMF's K-Love programming. For nearly 50 years, the KNKL license was KWCR-FM, which was the student-run radio station of Weber State University in Ogden. In 2012, a demolition of a dormitory that housed the station's transmitter and antenna forced the university to find a new location. However, the university failed to find a suitable site, and KWCR became an online-only radio station in 2015. The university sold the license two years later to EMF, which moved the signal north in 2019 to cover Logan and northern Utah.
