Nightingale College is a private for-profit college headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The college offers four nursing programs, the Associate of Science in Nursing, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the Registered nurse-to-BSN Program, and the Master of Science in Nursing Education Program. As of 2021, the college has satellite locations in 12 states.

The Ice Sheet at Ogden, also known as the Weber County Ice Sheet, is located 35 miles (56 km) north of Salt Lake City on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden. The Ice Sheet opened in 1994 as a recreational training center for curling, ice hockey, and figure skating. During the 2002 Winter Olympics the Ice Sheet hosted the curling events. The Ice Sheet is also home to the Ogden Mustangs, a junior ice hockey team in the United States Premier Hockey League and Weber State University's men's hockey team. The facility, owned by Weber County, has hosted several World Curling Federation-sanctioned events. The Ice Sheet offers local competitions, public skating, lesson programs, hockey, curling, figure skating and speed skating, ice shows, and includes a pro shop, conference rooms, locker rooms, and an outdoor terrace for meetings.

Dee Events Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the western United States, located on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. The circular, 11,592-seat domed arena, similar in design to many of the era, opened 46 years ago in 1977 and was named for the Lawrence T. Dee family, for his extensive contributions in building the arena.

South Ogden is a city in Weber County, Utah, United States with 17,199 residents. The population was 16,532 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The current mayor is Russell L. Porter.

KNKL (88.1 MHz) is a contemporary Christian music radio station in Tremonton, Utah, United States. The station is owned and operated by the Educational Media Foundation (EMF) and broadcasts EMF's K-Love programming. For nearly 50 years, the KNKL license was KWCR-FM, which was the student-run radio station of Weber State University in Ogden. In 2012, a demolition of a dormitory that housed the station's transmitter and antenna forced the university to find a new location. However, the university failed to find a suitable site, and KWCR became an online-only radio station in 2015. The university sold the license two years later to EMF, which moved the signal north in 2019 to cover Logan and northern Utah.

John B. Goddard School of Business & Economics at Weber State University prepares students for careers in business and economics. The Goddard School attracts students from across the nation and around the world. More than 2,400 students are enrolled in undergraduate programs in accounting, business administration [with emphases in business administration, finance, management (with human resource management track), marketing, and supply chain management], economics, and information systems & technologies; and more than 360 students pursue degrees in the Master of Accounting program and the Master of Business Administration program. The school was named for John B. Goddard following his more than $6 million gift in 1998.

Weber State University (pronounced WEE-bər) is a public university in Ogden, Utah. It was founded in 1889 as Weber Stake Academy. It is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

Reed K. Swenson Gym (originally Wildcat Gym) is a 1,200-seat gymnasium in the western United States, on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. It is currently the home of Weber State Wildcats women's volleyball team of the Big Sky Conference. Built 61 years ago in 1962 as Weber State's primary indoor venue, it was succeeded by the new Dee Events Center in autumn 1977. All three teams (men's and women's basketball, volleyball) moved to the Dee, leaving the gym without a varsity tenant. It was renovated in 2006 to accommodate volleyball, with its seating capacity significantly reduced. It is named for Reed Knute Swenson (1903–1989), the head basketball coach at Weber from 1933 to 1957 and longtime athletic director.The gym hosted the inaugural Big Sky Conference men's basketball tournament in 1976; the host Wildcats lost the title game in double overtime to Boise State, with an attendance of 4,679.The final men's basketball game was on February 12, 1977, a twelve-point win over Gonzaga before 4,941; the Bulldogs were winless in fifteen annual attempts at Wildcat Gym, but did upset Weber State by a point a week later in Spokane to foil their title hopes. Two weeks later at the conference tournament in Pocatello, the 'Cats returned the favor with a one-point win over the Zags in the semifinals.

The Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions is a college of Weber State University located in the Marriott Allied Health building on the east side of campus south of the Science Lab building. Degrees awarded in the college are as follows: Dental Hygiene, Emergency Care EMT/Paramedic, Health Administrative Services, Master of Health Administration, Health Care Coding, Health Information Management, Health Sciences, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Master of Nursing, Radiology, and Respiratory Therapy.

Elizabeth Dee Shaw Stewart Stadium is an outdoor multi-purpose stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Originally Wildcat Stadium, it was renamed in 1998 for Stewart (1905–1996), a notable campus and community benefactor.Used primarily for football, the 17,312-seat venue is the home of the Weber State Wildcats of the Big Sky Conference. It was expanded in 1966 with the construction of the primary grandstand along the northwest sideline, nearly doubling its capacity. The elevation of its synthetic turf playing field is 4,760 feet (1,450 m) above sea level; aligned northeast to southwest, the field was natural grass until 2011. Stewart Stadium is also the home venue for Weber State's outdoor track and field teams.

The Ott Planetarium is a planetarium at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, USA. The facility is named for Layton P. Ott and the Ott family. The planetarium is operated by university students and is a place of learning for audiences and staff alike.
