The Golden Spike Arena is a 6,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Ogden, Utah. The arena hosts local concerts, trade shows and sporting events for the area. The Golden Spike Arena was the home to the Ogden Knights of the American Indoor Football Association. It is part of the Golden Spike Event Center sports and convention complex and includes 18,000 square feet (1,700 m2) of arena floor space as well as six concession stands and open-span construction. Other facilities include: The Auction Arena with 12,000 square feet (1,100 m2) of space and seating for 350. An exhibit hall with 21,000 square feet (2,000 m2) of space and two concession stands. Defense Depot Ogden was a U.S. military installation located in Ogden, Utah, United States. It encompassed 1,139 acres (5 km2) with its southwest corner located on 12th Street (1200 South) and Tomlinson Road (1200 West). Its eastern border is the old Utah Northern Railroad, now owned by the Union Pacific Railroad.

Ogden–Weber Technical College (also referred to as OTECH, Ogden-Weber Tech or OWTC) is a public technical college in Ogden, Utah. It is one of the largest of the eight technical colleges within the Utah System of Higher Education (USHE). The college offers open-entry, open-exit, competency-based education targeted at technical skills and job placement (also called career and technical education). The college provides technical training in 30 different programs. Primary career clusters include Business and IT, Construction, Health, Manufacturing and Service occupations.

Pleasant View is a commuter rail station in Pleasant View, Utah, formerly served by the FrontRunner, Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) commuter rail train that operates along the Wasatch Front with service from Ogden in central Weber County through Davis County, Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake County to Provo in central Utah County. UTA announced that FrontRunner service to and from the Pleasant View station was to be suspended indefinitely with the schedule valid from August 12, 2018. As trains to Pleasant View station only operated Monday to Friday, the last train operated August 10, 2018. The reason given for the suspension of service was the cost of implementing federally mandated positive train control for the section of track north of Ogden on which FrontRunner ran, but is owned by the Union Pacific Railroad (UP).

North Ogden is a city in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 20,916 at the 2020 census. North Ogden is on SR-235, three miles north of Ogden. It is a suburb of that city and is part of the Ogden-Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Weber High School is a Utah secondary school located in Pleasant View, Utah, about five miles north of Ogden. It serves the residents of Pleasant View, North Ogden, Harrisville, Huntsville, Eden, and Liberty. It is part of the Weber School District and includes grades 10–12. The location of the original Weber High School was between 11th and 12th Street on the east side of Washington Boulevard in Ogden (the site of a current Shopko store and disco). In 1926, Weber County voters approved a bond for a county high school by a vote of 733 to 480. Construction of the building began in 1926 and was completed in 1927. Educators held school in the building in the fall of 1926, although the school was still under construction. In 1953-54 the school expanded with the addition of a new south wing.When the current campus opened in Pleasant View, the old building remained, until demolished in the mid-1980s. The current location of Weber High was established and opened in 1973 with an addition to the building in 1984. In the fall of 1994, the student population was split and half of the students went to the newly built Fremont High School. Their primary rivals are the Silver Wolves of Fremont High School, due to the close proximity of the two schools and the splitting of Weber in 1994 to build Fremont.
