Muddy Pond (Kingston, Massachusetts)

Sacred Heart School is a private parochial school of Roman Catholic denomination in Kingston, Massachusetts. The school is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. The school is operated by the Sisters of Divine Providence and educated students in grades 7-12 since its establishment in 1947. It more recently developed into grades PreK-12, and is now made up of three schools, an elementary school, a pre-primary (kindergarten) school, and an intermediate school. Masses are held monthly and on special occasions in either the auditorium or in the chapel. The three schools, a summer camp, and the Provincial Residence are also located on the extensive campus. In the 2018-2019 school year the Catholic order spent $2.2 million to keep the high school open, but after that time no longer had the money to do so. In 2020 the school system announced that its high school division would close.

Smelt Pond is a 44-acre (180,000 m2) pond in Kingston, Massachusetts. The pond is located west of the Kingston Collection and north of U.S. Route 44. Camp Nekon, a 193-acre (0.78 km2) former Girl Scout camp which closed in 1975 and has since become a recreation area, surrounds the pond. The water quality is impaired due to non-native aquatic plants and non-native fish in the pond.

Indian Pond is a 66-acre (270,000 m2) shallow, infertile, warm-water pond in Kingston and Plympton, Massachusetts, west of Route 80 and north of the new U.S. Route 44 highway. The average depth of the pond is three feet. Access to the pond is off Indian Road in Plympton. Fishing is regarded as generally poor due to the acidity of the water and the pond's natural infertility.

Kingston station (formerly Kingston/Route 3) is an MBTA Commuter Rail serving the Plymouth/Kingston Line, located off of Massachusetts Route 3 south of downtown Kingston, Massachusetts. It opened in 1997 during the restoration of Old Colony Lines service. Like all stations on the Old Colony Lines, Kingston station is fully accessible. The station consists of a single side platform serving the single track. Marion Drive, the access road for the station parking lot, crosses the line at grade just east of the platform. The Kingston layover yard is located just west of the station.

The Bradford House, also known as the Major John Bradford Homestead, is a historic house at 50 Landing Road in Kingston, Massachusetts. The Jones River Village Historical Society owns the house, and operates it as a historic house museum. The oldest portion of this 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built c. 1714; this was the western portion of the house, including what is now the central chimney. Documentary evidence suggests the building was expanded to its present width c. 1750. The house was restored to its 18th-century appearance in 1921 by George Francis Dow, around the time it was purchased by the Jones River Village Historical Society. The property includes an English barn that was moved to the site in 2002.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

North Triangle Pond is a 20-acre (81,000 m2) shallow pond in the West Plymouth section of Plymouth, Massachusetts, east of the Route 80 terminus off Samoset Street (former U.S. Route 44). The average water depth of the pond is less than one meter. The water quality is impaired due to non-native aquatic plants and nuisance exotic species. North Triangle Pond is also home to the endangered Northern red-bellied cooter.

Crossman Pond is a 15-acre (61,000 m2) pond in Kingston, Massachusetts, located off Wapping Road (Route 106) and South Street. The pond is hydro logically associated with a cranberry bog operation located to the west of the pond. The outflow is an unnamed stream that feeds the cranberry bog, ultimately leading to Fountainhead Brook, a tributary of the Jones River. The water quality is impaired due to non-native aquatic plants.
