Hainesport Township, New Jersey

The Hainesport Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Hainesport Township, in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 553 students and 56.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.9:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students attend the Rancocas Valley Regional High School, a comprehensive regional public high school serving students from five communities encompassing approximately 40 square miles (100 km2): Eastampton Township, Hainesport Township, Lumberton Township, Mount Holly Township and Westampton Township. As of the 2021–22 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 2,048 students and 140.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.6:1. The school is located in Mount Holly Township.

The South Branch Rancocas Creek is a 21.7-mile-long (34.9 km) tributary of Rancocas Creek in Burlington County, New Jersey in the United States. The South Branch Rancocas Creek drains an area of 144 square miles. Much of the upland agriculture within the Rancocas Creek basin lies inside the South Branch Rancocas Creek basin. It is also among the least developed parts of the Rancocas Creek watershed.

Coaxen Indian Village or Weekpink was named after Coaxen, the name of a local band of Lenape located in Burlington County, New Jersey, along the South Branch of the Rancocas Creek. It is also the name of both a nearby stream and one of two villages known during the historic period, residence of this native group, the other being Weekpink (variously Weekping, Weepinck, Wepink, etc.). Weekpink is also the name of a small run of water that empties into the South Branch of the Rancocas, and is also located within the historic bounds of the Coaxen Indian settlement. This settlement, and both streams, are now located in Southampton Township, New Jersey.

Rancocas Woods is an unincorporated community located within Mount Laurel Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The community was developed on the site of an amusement park. Houses in Rancocas Woods were first built in the 1930s. There were problems with the community when first developed. No sewers were installed, because of limited drainage, which caused floods to occur during heavy rainstorms. The water pressure from fire hydrants was unsubstantial—the volunteer fire department had to pump its water from the nearby Rancocas Creek.On July 11, 2018 the Mount Laurel Zoning Board voted to allow a section of commercial property to be zoned residential to allow the building of an apartment rental complex. This developer proposal will bring sewer and fire hydrants to this area, but will change the makeup of the shops at so-called Main Street Mount Laurel. The proposal was met with public backlash.

Rancocas State Park is a 1,252 acres (5.07 km2) protected area designated as a state park located in Hainesport Township and Westampton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey in the United States. Established in 1965, it is overseen and operated by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. The park is located along the North Branch of the Rancocas Creek and an extensive freshwater tidal marsh.

Timbuctoo is an unincorporated community in Westampton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. Located along the Rancocas Creek, Timbuctoo was settled by formerly enslaved and free Black people, beginning in 1826. It includes Church St., Blue Jay Hill Road, and adjacent areas. At its peak in the mid-nineteenth century, Timbuctoo had more than 125 residents, a school, an AME Zion Church, and a cemetery. The key remaining evidence of this community is the cemetery on Church Street, which was formerly the site of Zion Wesleyan Methodist Episcopal African Church. Some current residents are descendants of early settlers.

Masonville is an unincorporated community located within Mount Laurel Township, Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located east of Moorestown, the community of Masonville was developed when a highway was built in 1794. Major roads in Masonville include County Route 537 and Route 38. Masonville once had a post office with ZIP Code 08054. It was eventually replaced by the Mount Laurel post office, which was assigned the same ZIP Code and designed to serve a larger area.

Owned by the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the airport is located four nautical miles (7 km) southwest of the central business district of Mount Holly, New Jersey. This facility is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation reliever airport.Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned VAY by the FAA and LLY by the IATA. The airport's ICAO identifier is KVAY.

Lumberton is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 12,803, an increase of 244 (+1.9%) from the 2010 census count of 12,559, which in turn reflected an increase of 2,098 (+20.1%) from the 10,461 counted in the 2000 census.Lumberton was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 14, 1860, from portions of Medford, Southampton and Eastampton townships. Portions of Lumberton were taken on March 12, 1924, to form Hainesport Township. The Burlington County Institute of Technology Westampton Campus (more commonly known as Westampton Tech) is a four-year countywide vocational-technical public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from Burlington County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Burlington County Institute of Technology. Located in Westampton, the campus is one of two high schools in the district, along with the Medford campus. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,254 students and 84.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.9:1. There were 274 students (21.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 95 (7.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The Air Victory Museum is an aviation museum located at the South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, New Jersey.

Fostertown is an unincorporated community located within Lumberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The site was founded in 1735 by William Foster, who established a plantation on modern-day West Bella Bridge Road. The area is largely farmland with some houses and a high-voltage power line dotting the landscape.
