With a grant in 1901 for $57,000 by industrialist Andrew Carnegie a new library began construction at 515 Church Street and was completed in 1903.The library system consists of the Main library serving as the headquarters, and the Palmer Branch located at 1 Weller Place, Palmer Township which was constructed in 1986.The main location in Easton, Pennsylvania includes the Marx Room, which was added in 1985 to serve as a local history room. This addition houses the largest collection of local history and genealogy in northeastern Pennsylvania with roughly 15,000 historical texts and materials about the Easton area and Northampton County.The library holds the oldest known map of Easton, which dates back to the early 18th century, and the original Flag of Easton, which was hoisted during the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence in the Thirteen Colonies, which was read simultaneously in only three designated locations: Easton, Philadelphia, and Trenton, New Jersey, at noon on July 8, 1776, four days after its unanimous adoption by the Second Continental Congress.

Fisher Stadium is a 13,132-seat multi-purpose stadium in Easton, Pennsylvania. The stadium is home to the Lafayette College Leopards football team. It opened in 1926 as Fisher Field. During 2006 and 2007, Fisher Field underwent a $33-million renovation. It reopened in time for the 2006 college football season complete with new seating, a JumboTron, a new press box, FieldTurf, and field lighting. Construction of a Football Varsity House beyond the western endzone commenced in Fall 2006 and was completed before the 2007 season.

Kirby Sports Center is a 2,453-seat multi-purpose arena in Easton, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1973 and is home to the Lafayette College Leopards basketball team. It hosted the 2000 Patriot League men's basketball tournament and has been the site of two Patriot League tournament finals, an Ivy League playoff game and numerous high school tournament contests. The arena in Kirby Sports Center underwent a $1.7 million renovation that was completed for the start of the 2013-14 academic year. Three major changes included in the project that was overseen by Clough, Harbor and Associates: new seating, the addition of a video scoreboard and an LED scorer's table. Dedicated on June 2, 2000, the $35 million Allan P. Kirby Sports Center includes a new, 110,000-square-foot (10,000 m2) intramural and recreational sports facility attached to the previously existing Kirby Field House. The new portion of the center, featuring a distinctive atrium overlooking Fisher Stadium, includes the Kamine Gymnasium, which includes three 50-by-84-foot (15 by 26 m) courts for basketball, floor hockey, and other sports and an elevated 1⁄10-mile (0.16 km) jogging track. The Buck Courts include six courts for racquet sports, two for squash and four that can be configured for squash or racquetball. A 6,600-square-foot (610 m2) fitness center and weight room includes a full strength-training circuit, spacious free-weight area, and more than 30 cardiovascular machines. There is also a 35-foot (11 m) climbing wall, an aerobics area, and several offices.Built in 1973, the original field house, which contains Ruef Natatorium, is home to several varsity sports teams. It replaced Alumni Gymnasium, an Art Deco building located to the southeast of Fisher Field built in 1924. It has been enhanced by the renovations dedicated in 2000 to include a new sports medicine area and a new equipment room and renovated locker rooms and administrative offices. The lobby and Athletic Hall of Fame exhibitry have been modernized. Major support for the sports center was provided by the F.M. Kirby Foundation, which made a $32.5 million gift to Lafayette, the largest gift ever received by a college, university, or other non-profit organization in the Lehigh Valley. The Kirby Foundation is the family foundation of the Fred Morgan Kirby family, which has been prominent in the life of Lafayette for nearly a century. Seven family members are alumni, four have served as trustees, and three received honorary doctorates from Lafayette. The current director of recreation services for the Kirby Sports Center is Jodie Frey, who is also the associate dean of students.The venue should not be confused with the F.M. Nurture Nature Center (NNC) is a science-based education center focused on engaging the public on environmental risk topics. NNC is located in the city of Easton, Pennsylvania, roughly 55 miles (89 km) north of Philadelphia and 70 miles (110 km) west of New York City. It was founded by Theodore W. Kheel in response to flooding in 2004, 2005, and 2006 in the Delaware River Basin. The center's work today encompasses both national social science research and local community programming.

Marquis de Lafayette is a monumental statue on the campus of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. The statue, designed by Daniel Chester French and standing on a pedestal designed by Henry Bacon, was dedicated in 1921 in honor of the college's namesake, Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette. The statue is located at the south entrance of Colton Chapel. It is one of a number of sculptures made by French for universities, which includes the statue of John Harvard at Harvard University and Alma Mater at Columbia University.

The district includes 405 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Easton. Easton Historic District's buildings were primarily built between 1830 and 1910. The oldest dates back to 1752. Notable buildings include the First Reformed Church (United Church of Christ), Colonel Robert Hooper House, former Ormsby's Restaurant, First Public Library, St. John's Lutheran Church, Wolf School, Kares Building, Jacob Riegel House, Benjamin Reigel House, Detwiler House, Northampton National Bank Building, Alpha Building, Jacob Mayer Building, and Bell Telephone Building. Located in the district and separately listed are the Easton House, Parsons-Taylor House, Jacob Nicholas House, Judge Crater's Family Mansion, Jacob Mixsell House, Herman Simon House, and the State Theatre.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The prison is situated adjacent to the Northampton County Courthouse and consists of four inter-connected buildings.
