Mountain View High School is a secondary school in Loveland, Colorado, United States. Mountain View opened in 2000 and is the fourth public high school in the city, and the fifth high school in the Thompson R2-J School District. The principal of Mountain View is Jane Harmon as of the 2018-2019 school year. Mountain View was chosen in 2007 as the district's Music and Arts magnet high school, which is called LISA (Loveland Integrated School of the Arts). This is the only high school in Loveland that holds this program. The school also houses the national pre-engineering program, called Project Lead the Way. Students at Mountain View are permitted to rent iPads from the school due to a technology grant awarded by the Thompson School District.

The Blue Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Loveland, Colorado, 55 mi (89 km) northeast of Denver. It has 24 luxury suites, 777 club seats and 6,800 general admission seats. The arena is located on The Ranch Events Complex (formerly the Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex) and is owned by Larimer County, Colorado. The facility and ticket sales are managed by OVG360 (a division of Oak View Group). It is home to the AHL Colorado Eagles ice hockey team and is the former home of the Colorado Lightning indoor soccer team, the Colorado Chill women's basketball team, and the Denver Dream women's football team. It was also home to the Colorado Ice/Crush indoor football team from 2007 until 2017.

Northern Colorado Regional Airport (IATA: FNL, ICAO: KFNL, FAA LID: FNL), formerly known as the Fort Collins–Loveland Municipal Airport, is a public use airport located nine nautical miles (10 mi, 17 km) southeast of the central business district of Fort Collins and northeast of Loveland, both cities in Larimer County, Colorado, United States.The airport is situated west of Interstate 25 and Denver is located about 55 miles (89 km) south. It is most notable for serving the tourist areas of northern Colorado, such as the Rocky Mountain National Park, which is situated directly west of the airport. FNL primarily serves the Fort Collins–Loveland Metropolitan area located in Larimer County. The population for the metropolitan area is approximately 300,000. Avelo Airlines launched service to both Burbank, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada, in October 2021, it was announced that they would cease all service at KFNL by June 24, 2022, via press release from the airport, citing increased fuel and supply prices for their exit.As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 31,094 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 31,079 enplanements in 2009, and 35,671 in 2010 when Allegiant Air was providing scheduled service. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a primary commercial service airport.

On June 26, 2020, Karen Garner, a 73-year-old woman with dementia and sensory aphasia, suffered a broken arm, dislocated shoulder, and other injuries while being violently arrested by police in Loveland, Colorado, who had been summoned by Walmart employees after Garner left the store without paying for $13.88 worth of merchandise. Surveillance video from the police station taken after the arrest shows officers laughing, mocking Garner, and exchanging fist bumps while watching their own body camera footage of her injury and arrest. A lawsuit, filed in April 2021, alleges that the officers used excessive force and failed to provide Garner with timely medical attention. After body camera footage of the arrest and surveillance footage of the officers celebrating circulated widely that same month, three officers resigned and one went on leave pending investigations by city, county, and federal officials. On May 19, the arresting officer, Austin Hopp, was charged with second-degree assault, attempt to influence a public servant, and official misconduct. A second officer on the scene, Daria Jalali, was charged with failure to intervene, failure to report the use of excessive force, and official misconduct.

Boyd Lake State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Colorado, located north of Loveland, Colorado. It became a state recreation area under the Colorado Division of Game, Fish, and Parks in 1965. The park sometimes holds events for the public including fishing derbies and clinics, education programs, and volunteer projects. Activities permitted within the park include boating, fishing, picnicking, swimming, hiking, biking, and hunting. The park's centerpiece, Boyd Lake, is 1,700 acres (6.9 km2).

The William H. McCreery House, also known as The McCreery House, operates as a wedding and event venue in Loveland, Colorado. It was built by William H. McCreery in 1900 and is an historic hexagonal house located at 746 North Washington Avenue in Loveland, Colorado. In 2001 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.Its original portion was built in 1892.

The Maude Stanfield Harter Borland House, at 610 N. Jefferson Ave. in Loveland, Colorado, was built in 1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.The house and its garage were built in 1920, designed by Robert K. Fuller. They have been deemed to be "among northern Colorado's best examples of the Craftsman style of architecture" and to display "superb integrity".It has also been known as the Pollyann Castle Baird House. In 1992 the house was inherited from her Aunt Maude by Pollyann Castle (Kitchen) Baird. In 2004, at age eighty, she was still the home's owner and resident, and had "gained renown as a championship-caliber United States Ballroom Dance Champion. Mrs. Baird presently participates in three or four competitions per year, and has captured bronze, silver and gold medals in the American Smooth, International Standard, International Latin, and American Rhythm styles of ballroom dancing. She attained the title of United States Ballroom Champion, Senior Division, in the International Standard style in 1992. She also achieved national titles in three styles of dance for eight years up to 1997," and was still actively participating in competitions.

The First United Presbyterian Church at 400 E. 4th St. in Loveland, Colorado was built in 1905. It was designed by architect Montezuma Fuller. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It was designed by architect Montezuma Fuller with an Akron Plan interior and an exterior having elements of Romanesque Revival and Gothic Revival styles.Currently, the building is used as a house of worship affiliated with the PCUSA as a member of the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks. It is currently the oldest pipe organ still in its original condition in the state of Colorado. The Rialto Theater in Loveland, Colorado, at 228-230 E. Fourth Ave., was built in 1919. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.It has a three-bay Classical Revival front covered with glazed terra cotta blocks, of a 50 by 140 feet (15 m × 43 m) footprint. The two-story commercial block building has a flat roof and brick party and rear walls.It was deemed significant as "one of the city's most architecturally refined buildings": although "it is not an especially exuberant or palatial example of early 20th century movie theater architecture, the Rialto is well proportioned and well articulated. It well represents Loveland building trends as well as national motion picture theater trends for the period. The Rialto is one of the last main street theatres in northern Colorado with any remaining architectural integrity. The marquee replacement and the most recent alterations have compromised the Rialto visually, but the building still retains a high degree of integrity of location, setting and association...."Modifications to the theater have tended to contribute to, rather than detract from, its architectural character.It is also a contributing building in the Downtown Loveland Historic District, which was added to the National Register in 2015.

The Downtown Loveland Historic District in Loveland, Colorado is an 18 acres (7.3 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. It includes Loveland's commercial center which began in 1877, developed first as a railroad town, and then became an agricultural center and a regional center of government and commerce.The district includes portions of 4th Street, Loveland's main commercial avenue, from Railroad Avenue to Jefferson Avenue.It includes 45 contributing buildings and a contributing object, as well as 13 non-contributing buildings and nine non-contributing objects. It includes: Loveland Street Clock (1910), the one contributing object, manufactured by the Brown Street Clock Company of Monessen, Pennsylvania, located in front of Brannan Brothers Jewelry Store (1886), 239 East 4th Street, now "Garment Gal's", at 40.39553°N 105.07357°W / 40.39553; -105.07357 (Loveland Street Clock); Rialto Theater, 228 East 4th Street, separately NRHP-listed in 1988; Lovelander Hotel / BPOE Elks Lodge 1051 (1912–13), 103-117 East 4th Street, three stories; Union Block / Lincoln Hotel, 236-248 East 4th Street, three stories; Majestic Theatre / I. O. O. F. Hall, 315-319 East 4th Street, three stories; Colorado and Southern Railway Depot, 409-427 N. Two-story building constructed of pressed white brick, with a newer red brick veneer. Parapeted.

The Colorado and Southern Railway Depot in Loveland, Colorado was built in 1902 as replacement to a former depot built in 1878. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It is located at 405 Railroad Ave. in Loveland, or at 409-427 N. Railroad Avenue, and has also been known as the Loveland Depot.It was designed by Charles B. Martin, a Colorado and Southern architect. It was built at cost of $19,949.The depot is 175 by 37 feet (53 m × 11 m) in plan, was built of buff-colored brick, and has three sections: "a passenger depot at the southern end, a narrower freight depot at the northern end, and a large formerly open porch in the center." Brick from the old depot being replaced was used to pave walkways and the platform of the new depot.It is described as "Romanesque Revival in its detailing with the arch used within and without as a decorative motif. The main entrance to the passenger depot is on the South end of the building through an open vestibule with arched openings on three sides."It was also included as a contributing building in the Downtown Loveland Historic District, NRHP-listed in 2015.
