Lake Dallas Independent School District is a public school district based in Lake Dallas, Texas (USA). In addition to Lake Dallas, the district serves almost all of the town of Hickory Creek as well as portions of Corinth and Shady Shores. In 2009, it was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.

Lakeview Airport (FAA LID: 30f) is a public-use airport located one mile (1.6 km) east of the central business district (CBD) of Lake Dallas, in Denton County, Texas, United States.The airport is closed to transient student traffic and touch-and-go's are not permitted. No fuel service is available. Landing on the paved runway is not currently recommended due to its poor condition.

Falcon Field is a baseball field in Corinth, Texas, US. It was the 2007 home of the defunct Denton Outlaws of the Texas Collegiate League. The field is now home to the Falcons of Lake Dallas High School.

The Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge (LLTB) is a 1.7-mile (2.7 km) tied arch bridge crossing Lewisville Lake in Denton County, Texas, USA. Operated by North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), the four-lane toll bridge connects Swisher Road in Lake Dallas to Eldorado Parkway in Little Elm. It is one segment of the 13-mile (21 km) Lewisville Lake Corridor, which connects Interstate 35E and Dallas North Tollway. The bridge is the second-longest bridge in the North Texas area. Only the State Highway 66 bridge over Lake Ray Hubbard, which connects Rowlett and Rockwall, is longer. Toll rates across the bridge are $1.32 for TollTag customers and $1.98 for ZipCash drivers.

Lake Dallas High School is a public high school located in the city of Corinth, Texas. It is classified as a 5A school by the UIL. It is part of the Lake Dallas Independent School District located in central Denton County. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.It includes all of Lake Dallas, almost all of the town of Hickory Creek, and sections of Corinth and Shady Shores.

The Champ d'Or estate is a pseudo-French Baroque residential building located in Hickory Creek, Texas. Inspired by Vaux-le-Vicomte near Paris, France. The building situated at 1851 Turbeville Road, in Denton County, Champ d'Or—literally, "Field of Gold," from the surname of Alan and Shirley Goldfield, who built the house in 2002s 17th century architecture and design.Champ d'Or was one of the more unusual architectural works in North Texas, featured not only in countless news articles, most notably being Forbes Magazine, but also gaining notoriety through its appearance in at least one book on French architecture and interior design. Champ d'Or's dominance of the Hickory Creek landscape has made the place of a tourist attraction. The estate has been re branded as "The Olana" and is now a wedding venue under Walters Wedding Estates.

Oak Point is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. Ranked in the Top 20 of 62 suburbs in the Dallas area by D Magazine, Oak Point had a population of 2,786 at the 2010 census.

Billy Ryan High School (Ryan or RHS) is a public high school located in east Denton, Texas. It is the second high school of the Denton Independent School District and classified as a 5A school by the UIL. The original building for the school was built in 1991 and was followed with expansions in 1994, 2006, 2008/2009, and 2022 that added more space for the pre-existing technology and fine arts programs.
