Farmersville High School is a public high school located in Farmersville, Texas, United States. It is part of the Farmersville Independent School District located in eastern Collin County and, as of the 2018-2020 realignment, is classified as a 4A school by the UIL. The school is located on the northwest side of the city of Farmersville. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

The Farmersville Masonic Lodge No. 214, A.F. and A.M. is a historic Italianate building located in Farmersville, Texas. It was constructed in 1888 as a meeting hall for Farmersville Lodge No. 214 (a local Masonic lodge). The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (under the name: "Farmersville Masonic Lodge No. 214, A.F. and A.M.") in 2005.Later, the building houses the Farmersville Times, a local area newspaper and Farmersville lodge meets elsewhere.

The Farmersville Islamic cemetery is located in Farmersville, Collin County, Texas. The cemetery became the subject of controversy in 2015 when local residents expressed opposition to the prospect of Muslims being buried near their town. After a consortium of local mosques purchased a plot of land outside the city limits to provide a burial ground for the county's Muslims, the local authorities unanimously granted permission for the plans. However, opposition grew among local residents and the proposals were vehemently denounced in public forums where many residents expressed strongly anti-Islamic sentiments as the basis for their opposition. Council members and planning officials reported receiving death threats and threats were also made to desecrate the site with pigs' blood and severed pigs' heads. The council emphasized that there was little it could do to prevent the cemetery going ahead, as it was bound by local and state planning regulations.

Blocks of time are sold to hosts who may use their shows to appeal for donations to their ministries. The system is known as brokered programming. KFCD is powered at 7,000 watts by day. But at night, to avoid interfering with other stations on 990 AM, power is reduced to 920 watts. Programming is also heard on FM translator K260CX at 99.9 MHz in McKinney, Texas.
