Swindon Designer Outlet is a covered designer outlet in Swindon, England. The outlet occupies the restored Great Western railway works and is owned by McArthurGlen. Swindon Works was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1843 in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. It served as the principal west England maintenance centre until closed in 1986.

St Mark's Church in central Swindon, Wiltshire, England is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Swindon, the archdeaconry of Malmesbury, and the diocese of Bristol. Its benefice is united with those of St Aldhelm, Swindon, St Luke, Swindon, and St Saviour, Swindon, to form the benefice of Swindon New Town. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade II listed building.

UTC Swindon is a University Technical College (UTC) in Swindon, England that opened in September 2014 for students of ages 14–19. The college specialises in engineering and is sponsored by Oxford Brookes University and Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells. The campus is on the northwestern edge of Swindon Railway Village, built in the 1840s for workers at the Great Western Railway's Swindon Works. The college is partly newly built and partly in a single-storey building of c. 1845 which was formerly part of the GWR School. Also on the site is a preserved cast iron water tower of 1870, which served the Works.The college has capacity for 600 pupils.

Heelis is the central office of the National Trust, in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. Heelis was the married name of Beatrix Potter, one of the key figures in the early history of the National Trust. It was built in 2005 by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. It is considered one of the greenest office buildings in England, incorporating silent, natural ventilation and open-plan meeting spaces.

Swindon Mechanics' Institute is a Grade II* listed building in Swindon, Wiltshire. It is located in the railway village area, which is today part of a conservation area. The Swindon Mechanics' Institute served workers from the Swindon Railway Works.

Swindon Victorian Turkish Baths are Victorian Turkish baths in Swindon, England. Originally located across the road in Taunton Street, and opening in 1868, Swindon's Victorian Turkish Baths are the oldest continuously running baths of their type in the British Isles. They currently consist of three interconnecting hot rooms, a cold plunge pool, showers, and a large cooling-room for relaxation. Complementing the Turkish baths are Russian baths and a "spa pool". Their current location is a Grade II* listed building.The baths are currently closed for a major refurbishment.

The Oasis Leisure Centre (commonly called Swindon Oasis) was an entertainment and sports complex just outside the town centre of Swindon, Wiltshire, England, with facilities including a lagoon swimming pool, gym, bar, and concert hall. It was in operation from 1976 to 2020.

The Church of St. Augustine is an Anglican parish church in Even Swindon (also known locally as Rodbourne), an area of the town of Swindon, Wiltshire, England. The church was built to serve the spiritual needs of people moving to Swindon because of the Great Western Railway Works. The building was designed by W A H Masters, who also designed St Luke's Church, Broad Street, Swindon, and St Philip's, Upper Stratton. The church is in the Diocese of Bristol and the province of Canterbury, and is dedicated to St. Augustine of Canterbury.

Swindon College is a further education college in Swindon, England. Its campus is at North Star, just north of the town centre. The college offers HNC/Ds and Foundation Degrees, through to B.A. (Hons) courses and a postgraduate programme. Steve Wain has been Principal of the college since 2016.

Swindon railway station is on the Great Western Main Line in South West England, serving the town of Swindon, Wiltshire. It is 77 miles 23 chains (124.4 kilometres) down the line from the zero point at London Paddington and is situated between Didcot Parkway and Chippenham on the main line. It is managed by Great Western Railway, which also operates all the trains. Being roughly halfway between the English and Welsh capitals of London and Cardiff, it is an important junction, where the former Great Western Railway line to Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa, the main line to Bristol Temple Meads, and the South Wales Main Line via Bristol Parkway diverge. It is approximately 220 yards (200 metres) from the central bus station and the town centre. It is served by GWR services from Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads, Cheltenham Spa via Gloucester, Cardiff Central, Swansea and the rest of South Wales, and to Westbury.
