The Charter School of Wilmington (CSW) is a college preparatory charter high school in Wilmington, Delaware. It is Delaware's first independently operated public school whose curriculum emphasizes math and science. It shares the former Wilmington High School building with Cab Calloway School of the Arts.

Brindley Farm is a historic home and farm located near Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. The house, known as Crooked Billet, was built about 1750, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five bay, stone structure, with later rear wings and a modern side porch. Also on the property are a contributing frame barn and carriage house, dated to 1807. The property has been owned by only two families since 1750, and the house once operated as an inn or tavern. The Du Pont family has owned the property since 1864.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

St. Joseph on the Brandywine, originally Saint Joseph's Church until St. Joseph's Church- Wilmington was built in 1947, is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in Greenville, New Castle County, Delaware, in the Diocese of Wilmington. It is noted for its historic parish church complex and national historic district located on Old Church Road. Since 2002 its old convent building has housed the Diocesan Archives of Wilmington, with records spanning the last two centuries of church activity in Delaware. It is also the home parish of the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden.

Charles B. Lore Elementary School is a historic elementary school building located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1932, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, "E"-shaped red brick building in the Collegiate Gothic style. It features a four-story central tower, steep pitched, slate gable roof, stone surrounds on windows and doors, and battlements above entryways. The school was named for Charles B. Lore (1831-1911). It was closed in 1981 because of declining enrollment. It was later converted to an assisted living facility. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Union Park Gardens is a neighborhood located between Union Street and Lancaster Avenue in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. It was designed by landscape architect John Nolen and the architect Emile G. Perrot of the firm Ballinger & Perrot during the First World War. Union Park Gardens first served as housing for shipyard workers of the United States Shipping Board's Emergency Fleet Corporation.

Holladay-Harrington House is a historic estate located at Greenville, New Castle County, Delaware. It was designed about 1927 by noted Delaware architect E. William Martin. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, three bays wide, stuccoed dwelling in the Colonial Revival style. The house has a hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves, projecting pavilion-like side sun porches, and French doors in all three first floor bays. The property includes a contributing garage, three small greenhouses, driveway pillars, fountain and concrete pool, retaining wall, metal fencing with grape design near greenhouses, and landscape features.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Wawaset Park is a planned community national historic district located on the western edge of the City of Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. The area was formerly the grounds of Schuetzen Park, a horse racing and later auto racing track and fairgrounds. It was purchased in 1917 by the DuPont Company and developed into single-family houses, semi-detached and row houses to meet the housing need for the company's expanding corporate staff. The historic district encompasses 321 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure.The neighborhood's design by noted Baltimore architect Edward L. Palmer, Jr., with curvilinear streets and ample lawns giving it the setting of a suburb within the city, was influenced by the work of Frederick Law Olmsted, and its architecture includes Tudor cottages, Georgian mansions, and elements of the Picturesque and Gothic styles. The dwellings are unified by slate roofing.The historic district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
