Foreign Service Academy is a training academy for foreign service officers of the Bangladesh Civil Service under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Viqarunnisa University (Bengali: ভিকারুননিসা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a private university in Bangladesh. It was established in 2001. The university is on Bailey Road, Dhaka. Former member of the national parliament of Bangladesh and businessman Dr HBM Iqbal is the chairman of the Viqarunnisa University Foundation. In 2002, the University Grants Commission (UGC) brought allegations of in setting up the institution against the chairman. In 2003, the supreme court asked concerned authorities to reopen the university.The university is named after the prominent Austrian Pakistani social worker, Viqar un Nisa Noon.

Malwali Masjid/Mosque, Kakrail Markaz (Bengali: মালওয়ালী মসজিদ, কাকরাইল মারকাজ) is a mosque in the Kakrail neighbourhood of Ramna Dhaka, Bangladesh. Located near Ramna Park, it is the centre of the Tabligh Jamat in Bangladesh.

The National Tennis Complex is the national tennis practice ground located in Ramna, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

Bailey road is a well-known thoroughfare in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It is a classic road in Dhaka. It runs through Shantinagar, connecting the Kakrail-Ramna road with the Siddheshwari junction. It is generally regarded as one of the classier areas of the city. The bailey road is considered as two distinct roads, one after another, they are the new baily road and the Baily road. The new Baily road is well recognised for its famous theatres, numerous boutiques, shops, schools, fast foods, restaurants and various hangout places. The other Baily road is reputable because of the officers club, Foreign Service academy and homes of ministers, officers and government officials. Bailey Road was featured in a song of the same name by Ayub Bachchu, lead singer of the popular rock band LRB. Bailey Road was officially renamed Natok Soroni (Theater Street), in recognition of the road's contributions to performing arts in the capital.

Shishu Park (Bengali: শিশু পার্ক), Alternatively known as Shahid Zia Shishu Park (Bengali: শহীদ জিয়া শিশু পার্ক), is the only public sector children's amusement park loacated in Shahbag, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1979 on 15 acres (6.1 ha) of land, it is the first children's amusement park in Bangladesh. Established as a profit making venture by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, the government-owned tourism promotion agency in Bangladesh, it is maintained by then Dhaka City Corporation and now Dhaka South City Corporation as its only entertainment park since 1983.The 12 rides of the park include including a wheel train, a merry-go-round and a number of wheel-based rides. Bangladesh Air Force donated a fighter jet in 1992. The cheapest of all entertainment parks in Dhaka, charging BDT 10.00 for entry and 10.00 for each ride, it draws about 6,000 visitors a day. During the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays the number of visitors reach up to 350 thousands. The City Corporation earns about BDT 200 million annually from the park. The park is open Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On Fridays, it is open from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm.Due to lack of maintenance the rides have deteriorated in condition. As of 2007, a City Corporation plan to revamp the park for BDT 9 billion waits for approval of the Ministry for Local Government and Rural Development. The plan includes an expansion of the area to 19 acres (7.7 ha) and adding 16 new rides besides reinstalling the old rides. Now it is closed for modernisation and renovation works.

Jamuna State Guest House is the official guest house of the government of Bangladesh for visiting heads of states located in Ramna Thana, Dhaka.

St. Mary's Cathedral also called Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and located in the Kakrail, Ramna Road, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 1956 and his feast is celebrated on December 8. It belongs to the Roman or Latin rite and is home to the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Dhaka (Latin: Archidioecesis Dhakensis; Bengali: ঢাকার বিশপের এলাকা). It is one of two cathedrals located in the city, the other being dedicated to St. Thomas and belonging to the Anglican Church. Its Metropolitan Archbishop is Patrick D'Rozario. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary in her title of the Immaculate Conception.

International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) is statutory body in Bangladesh whose function is the preservation of languages.

There is also a Diocese of Dhaka (and a Bishop of Dhaka) in the united Church of Bangladesh. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Dhaka (Latin: Archidioecesis Dhakensis) is the Latin, main Metropolitan Metropolitan diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Bangladesh, but no longer the only one. It still depends on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. The archdiocese's Marian mother church and thus seat of its archbishop is St. Mary's Cathedral in the national capital Dhaka. As senior Metropolitan in Bangladesh, it is the principal episcopal see of that country. As of 2020 the Archbishop of Dhaka is Bejoy Nicephorus D'Cruze, formerly Bishop of Sylhet, having been appointed by Pope Francis in September 2020.

Archbishop House (Bengali: আর্চ বিশপ হাউস) also known as Kakrail Church is an architecturally significant residence and church situated in Kakrail, Ramna Thana, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was first built in 1925, with a chapel on the east end. It had evolved 1947 in Lakkibazar (Puran Dhaka) and in 1957 it transferred to Kakrail. The present church was renovated in 1976. There are Gothic and Renaissance motifs inside and outside the structure and it is considered to be a fine example of post colonial fusion architecture. The Daily Star reported in 2009 that official listing as a national heritage site was imminent, but six years later the Department of Archaeology was still preparing the list of buildings to be preserved.The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Dhaka is the only archdiocese in Bangladesh. Archbishop Patrick D'Rozario, CSC, D.D currently resides. East of the house, within the same compound, lies St. Mary's Cathedral, built in 1956. Fr. Gabriel Corraya is parish priest of St. Mary's Cathedral. St. Joseph's Seminary is also situated in the same boundary. Fr. Milton D. Corraya is the rector of the seminary and spiritual rector is Fr. Jyoti A. Gomes. Two graves lie at the front of Archbishop House, containing the bodies of Archbishop Theotonius Amal Ganguly and Archbishop Michael Rozario.

The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, commonly referred to as IEB, is the national professional organisation of engineers in Bangladesh. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) of the country. Within the country, it has 18 centers and 31 sub-centers. It has 10 'overseas chapter' in different countries of the world, namely: Australia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and the United States. It formed the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) which holds the accreditation of engineering faculties in Bangladesh.
