The Eastern York School District is a midsized, suburban, public school district. It covers approximately 54 square miles (140 km2) of east, central York County in the South Central region of Pennsylvania. The District overlooks the Susquehanna River and is made up of six municipalities which include East Prospect Borough, Hallam Borough, Hellam Township, Lower Windsor Township, Yorkanna Borough, and Wrightsville Borough. According to 2000 federal census data, it served a resident population of 17,768. The US Census bureau reported that the population grew to 19,565 people in 2010.Eastern York School District operates 5 schools: Eastern York High School (9–12), Eastern York Middle School (6–8), Canadochly Elementary School (K–5), Kreutz Creek Elementary School (K–5) and Wrightsville Elementary School (K–5).

Martin Schultz House is a historic home located at Hallam, York County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1736, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular blue limestone early Germanic dwelling built into a hillside. It measures 30 feet by 50 feet and has a steeply pitched roof with gable dormers. It was restored between 1956 and 1960.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Samuel S. Lewis State Park is an 85-acre (34 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Lower Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Mt. Pisgah is an 885-foot-high (270 m) ridge that is the focus of recreation for the park. The ridge separates East Prospect Valley from Kreutz Creek Valley. An overlook on Mt. Pisgah gives visitors of view of the Susquehanna River Valley. Samuel S. Lewis Park is twelve miles (19 km) east of York near U.S. Highway 30.

Chestnut Hill is a historic home located at Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1940–1941, and is a 2-story, plus basement, Colonial Revival-style dwelling. It measures 94 feet wide and has a cross gable of 40 feet deep. The first story is sandstone and the second is sheathed in redwood clapboard. It features direct outdoor access from all rooms on the main floor and an elliptical, two-story front hall with a spiral staircase. Also on the property are a contributing picnic pavilion (c. 1936) and playhouse /toolshed (1941).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

WARM-FM's radio studios and offices are on Susquehanna Plaza Drive off US Route 30 in York, halfway between downtown York and Lancaster. The transmitter is nearby, off Brummer Lane in Hellam Township.

The Haines Shoe House is a shoe-shaped house in Hellam Township, Pennsylvania, about two miles west of the borough of Hallam, on Shoe House Road near the Lincoln Highway. The house is 25 feet (7.6 m) high, 17 feet (5.2 m) wide, and 48 feet (15 m) long, and is visible from US Route 30.Built by Mahlon Haines in 1948 to promote his shoe stores, the house was initially provided as a vacation spot for newlyweds and senior couples. Subsequent owners have offered it for public rental or operated it as a museum and ice cream shop. Most recently, it is to become an Airbnb rental property.

Windsor is a borough in York County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in 1905 and was named after Windsor, England and was formerly named Windsorville. The population was 1,359 at the 2020 census. In the spring of 2016, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and York County's Marcellus Shale fund provided $350,000 to make improvements at the Windsor baseball field. The project includes a handicap accessible bridge, wetland plants to capture rain runoff, new playground equipment and new bleachers.
