Illinois Lutheran High School, or ILHS, is a private, nationally accredited Christian school in Crete, Illinois, a south suburb of Chicago. Illinois Lutheran High School serves students from the south, central and eastern region of Will County. This includes Crete, Monee, Wilmington, Peotone, and Washington townships in Will County.

New Lenox Township is located in the heart of Will County, Illinois, on U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 80. As of the 2010 census, its population was 40,270, and it contained 13,721 housing units. New Lenox Township has thirty-six square miles within its jurisdiction. It serves almost all of the Village of New Lenox and parts of the individual municipalities of Mokena, Homer Glen, Joliet and the entire unincorporated areas of the New Lenox community. New Lenox Township changed its name from Vernon Township on June 10, 1850. New Lenox Township provides general assistance to needy families, the fair and equal assessment of all real estate, and bridge and storm water system maintenance outside the municipality. New Lenox also provides environmental programs, mosquito abatement, transit services, senior housing, family, senior and youth service programs and the administration, maintenance and preservation of the local Marshall and Maplewood Cemeteries.

Marley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Will County, Illinois, United States. It is in the northern part of the county, between Homer Glen to the north and Mokena to the south. Marley is bordered to the south by Interstate 80, but with no direct access. U.S. Route 6 (Southwest Highway) passes just north of Marley, leading west-southwest 9 miles (14 km) to Joliet and northeast 6 miles (10 km) to Orland Park. Marley was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

New Lenox is a commuter train station along Metra's Rock Island District line in New Lenox, a southern suburb of Chicago, Illinois. The station is officially located on 300 North Church Street, and lies 34.0 miles (54.7 km) away from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line, however parking is available between Church Street and far northeast of Haven Avenue. It is also the penultimate station along the RID line before reaching the end of the line at Joliet Transportation Center. In Metra's fare-based system, New Lenox station is in zone G. As of 2018, New Lenox is the 49th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 1,046 weekday boardings.As of 2022, New Lenox is served by 42 trains (21 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. New Lenox station was originally built by the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad in 1900. It is located just north of US 30, and is also west of a bridge that carries a former Wabash Railroad line that serves Metra's SouthWest Service line. A new station was built for that line at Laraway Road in 2006. There are no convenient transfers between these two stations. Like Laraway Road station, no bus connections are currently available.

Mokena is one of two commuter rail stations along Metra's Rock Island District line that are located in Mokena, Illinois. The station is located on Front Street and Mokena Street east of Wolf Road, and is 29.6 miles (47.6 km) away from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's fare-based system, Mokena is in zone F. As of 2018, Mokena is the 90th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 559 weekday boardings.As of 2022, Mokena is served by 42 trains (21 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. Unlike Hickory Creek to the east, Mokena has both a waiting room and a ticket agency window. Parking is available on Front Street between Wolf Road and Mokena Street, as well as on the northwest corner of McGovney Street and Mokena Street. Additional parking can be found further northwest on Willow Crest Lane off of Wolf Road, and at the Village Hall to the northeast on the corners of Division, Third, and Carpenter Streets. Currently, no bus connections are available at the station.

Mokena (moh-KEE-nuh) is a village in Will County, Illinois, United States. It is a southwest suburb of Chicago. The population was 19,887 at the 2020 census. The Census Bureau's 2019 estimate found that the population had increased to 20,159.

Orland Park 179th Street is one of three stations on Metra's SouthWest Service in Orland Park, Illinois. The station is 28.7 miles (46.2 km) away from Chicago Union Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, 179th Street is in zone F. As of 2018, Orland Park 179th Street is the 162nd busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 208 weekday boardings. The station was the southern terminus of the line from January 3, 1995 to January 30, 2006 when it was extended to New Lenox and Manhattan.As of January 16, 2023, Orland Park 179th Street is served by all 30 trains (15 in each direction) on weekdays, with 10 inbound trains originating here and 10 outbound trains terminating here. Saturday service is currently suspended. Although 179th Street is no longer the terminus of the SouthWest Service, most trains end their trips at this station. During peak hours trains continue to Laraway Road and Manhattan.
