Seneca Lake State Park is a 141-acre (0.57 km2) state park located in Seneca County, New York in the United States. The park is at the north end of Seneca Lake, one of the Finger Lakes. The park is south of and between Geneva and Waterloo.

East Geneva, also called Serven, is a hamlet in the Town of Waterloo, Seneca County, New York, United States, near Seneca Lake. It is located three miles (5 km) east of the City of Geneva and five miles (8 km) west of the Village of Waterloo, at an elevation of 472 feet (144 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are U.S. Route 20/N.Y. Route 5, Border City Road (CR 110), Serven Road and Seneca Boulevard.

Border City is a hamlet on the border of the City of Geneva in Ontario County and the Town of Waterloo in Seneca County, New York, United States, near Seneca Lake. It dates back to 1788 when the Pre-Emption Line was drawn from the Pennsylvania border to Lake Ontario, thus creating Upstate New York. The "Border" referred to is the former Massachusetts and New York border. It is when Phelps & Gorham secured the purchase of 6+ million acres from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that the State of New York that we now know was created. It is located just east of Geneva, at an elevation of 463 feet (141 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are East North Street (CR 4), Border City Road (CR 110) and Pre-Emption Street. U.S. Route 20 and N.Y. Route 5 (Known locally as Route 5 and 20) passes just south of Border City. Seneca Lake State Park is located just south of the hamlet.

War Horse Brewing Company (formerly Barley Yards Brewing Company), part of the Three Brothers Wineries & Estates, is a brewery operated by Dave Mansfield in Geneva, New York, USA. The brewery opened on May 24, 2008 and is the first brewery in the United States to brew a Riesling ale, made by blending the wort of an American-style wheat beer with ten percent juice from Riesling grapes.

St. Francis deSales Church is a historic Catholic church in Geneva, New York. A historic district of the church and three associated buildings, designated St. Francis de Sales Parish Complex, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Nester House, also known as Geneva-on-the-Lake, is a historic home located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York, USA. The Renaissance Revival building's design is based upon the Villa Lancellotti, a 16th-century suburban villa in the village of Frascati near Rome. It was built in 1911 and is a large three-story, U-shaped villa, built of brick and concrete block and coated in stucco. In 1949, the Capuchin Order acquired the property and operated the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary on the property. In 1973, the Capuchins sold the property and the house and its 1949 additions were later converted into 30 apartments. It is now operated as a resort. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Durfee House is a historic building that now serves as student housing for Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. It was originally built downtown as a land speculator's office during the nascence of European settlers in the region. Frederick Augustus de Zeng and his familiy are supposed to be early owners. Dated to 1787, it is the oldest known extant structure in Geneva and the surrounding area; however, the building was moved to its present location at 639 South Main Street in 1838 and expanded at least once in its history, in the late 1790s and/or in the 1840s. This hinders its historical landmark eligibility, despite the fact that it is considered to be one of the oldest extant frame buildings west of Rome, New York. Owned by Hobart College since 1840, the building is named for mathematician and dean William Pitt Durfee.

Geneva Hall and Trinity Hall are historic dormitory buildings located at Hobart & William Smith College in Geneva, Ontario County, New York. Geneva Hall (1822) and Trinity Hall (1837) are the two oldest main structures on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, however, many of the houses date from earlier and Durfee House is the oldest, dating from the 1780s. Both are three story, nine bay structures built of fieldstone with belt courses between the stories.They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Belhurst Castle is a former private residence on the shores of Seneca Lake in Geneva, New York, United States. It was designed by architects Fuller & Wheeler and built between 1885 and 1889. The three-story, nine bay wide Romanesque Revival style mansion is constructed of Medina sandstone. It has a slate gable roof, one-story solarium, and four rectangular stone chimneys. It features projecting porches, bays, towers with conical and pyramidal roofs, eyebrow windows, and a porte cochere with Syrian arch.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.Supplemented by modern facilities, Belhurst Castle has been adapted for hotel and retail uses. It holds a hotel with three choices of lodging (Vinifera Inn, Chambers in the Castle, and White Springs Manor); two ballrooms to host weddings, two restaurants (Edgar's Restaurant and Stonecutters); spa, and a winery.Belhurst Castle has previously been used as a speakeasy during Prohibition, casino, and supper club.

South Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York. The district contains 142 contributing properties including 140 contributing buildings, as well as Pultney Park and the original quadrangle of the Hobart College campus. Over half of the structures date from 1825 to 1850.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Geneva Downtown Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Geneva, Ontario County, New York. It encompasses 83 contributing buildings in the central business district of Geneva. They were built between about 1840 and 1940, and include notable examples of Greek Revival, Italianate, Romanesque Revival, Colonial Revival, and Art Deco style commercial architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Farmers and Merchants Bank, Smith's Opera House, and United States Post Office. Other notable buildings include the Prouty Block (1876), YMCA (1902), Wheat Building (1904), Guard Building (1917, 1924), Geneva City Hall (1913, 1940), Odd Fellows Building (1884-1890), and Kresge Building (1928).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
