Clifton Township is a township in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,494 at the 2020 census.

Lehigh Township is a second-class township in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The township's population at the 2020 United States Census was 1,876, down slightly from 1,881 at the time of the 2010 United States Census.

Gouldsboro State Park is a 2,880-acre (1,165 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County and Lehigh Township, Wayne County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park includes the 250-acre (100 ha) Gouldsboro Lake. Gouldsboro State Park is located very close to Tobyhanna State Park and Pennsylvania State Game Lands 127 and 312. It is on Pennsylvania Route 507 near the small village of Gouldsboro.

Tobyhanna National Forest was established in Pennsylvania by the United States Forest Service on April 10, 1925, with 20,870 acres (84.5 km2) from part of the Tobyhanna Military Reservation. On October 10, 1928, the executive order for its creation was rescinded and the forest was abolished.

The depot was established on February 1, 1953, in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County, near Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania.It is the largest industrial employer in Northeastern PA. It supports the "sustainment, overhaul and repair, fabrication and manufacturing, engineering design and development, systems integration, technology insertion, modification, and global field support." TYAD also facilitates the United States Air Force Technology Repair Center for tactical ballistic missiles, rigid-wall shelters, and portable buildings.

The Pinchot Trail System is a 22.2-mile (35.7 km) hiking trail in Pinchot State Forest in the Pocono Mountains region of northeastern Pennsylvania. The trail is marked with orange blazes as a designated Pennsylvania State Forest hiking trail. While it is a single loop trail, the word "System" is in its name because it was formed from several previously existing trails with distinct names, and many of those old names are still visible on trail signs for their historical interest.

Thornhurst Township is a small town in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,012 at the 2020 census. The area is a part of the Pocono Mountains region. The township was established in 1878 as Lehigh Township, so named for the Lehigh River. In 1996, to eliminate confusion between this and the township of the same name in Wayne County, the township changed its name to Thornhurst, the name of a community within the southern portion of the township.

Emerson Run is a tributary of Lake Run in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 1.8 miles (2.9 km) long and flows through Covington Township. The watershed of the stream has an area of 1.58 square miles (4.1 km2). Wild trout naturally reproduce in the stream. The surficial geology in its vicinity consists of Wisconsinan Ice-Contact Stratified Drift, Wisconsinan Till, bedrock, wetlands, peat bogs, and sand and gravel pits.
