The FLATZ Museum is a contemporary art museum in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg (Austria). The museum dates back to an oeuvre donation to the city of Dornbirn from the action artist FLATZ (Wolfgang Flatz, *1952, Dornbirn). The opening took place in 2009 by the former "documenta" director Jan Hoet.It shows changing exhibitions designed by international guest curators with a focus on photographic art, organises readings, lecture series, discussions and performances. The collection includes key works by Wolfgang Flatz from the period 1975 to 1999 and is supplemented by private loans.

Dornbirn (German pronunciation: [ˈdɔʁnbɪʁn] ) is a city in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative centre for the district of Dornbirn, which also includes the town of Hohenems, and the market town Lustenau. Dornbirn is the largest city in Vorarlberg and the tenth largest city in Austria. It is an important commercial and shopping centre.

The company is a European market leader for professional lighting systems and the number two for lighting components in Europe. The group operates 10 production facilities on three continents as well as sales and partner companies in nearly 90 countries.Since 2007, the group has presented the Zumtobel Group Award (long name Zumtobel Group Award – Innovations for Sustainability and Humanity in the Built Environment) to architects and engineers every two years. The prize was worth 140,000 euros in 2012, 150,000 euros in 2017 and 120,000 euros in 2021.In the financial year from May 2017 to April 2018, the company recorded a loss of 46.7 million euros due to pricing pressure and currency effects and did not pay out a dividend for this period. Revenue declined by 8 percent and the share of LEDs in revenue increased from 73.6 to 79.6 percent. In 2018/19, the Zumtobel Group significantly reduced the net loss from 46.7 to 15.2 million euros. As a result of uncertainties related to Brexit and price pressure caused by intense competition in the lighting industry, revenue declined by 2.9 percent to 1.162 billion euros. The operating result (EBIT) improved from minus 7.3 million to 2.7 million euros. Profitability also increased compared to the previous year. Group EBIT, adjusted for one-off effects, rose by 8 million euros to 27.6 million euros. Return on sales improved to 2.4 percent. On 25 June 2020 the Zumtobel Group announced the figures for the 2019/20 financial year: net profit for the year rose by 30 million euros to a plus of 14.5 million euros. Adjusted Group EBIT almost doubled to 53.9 million euros despite a slight decline in revenues due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The EBIT margin increased from 2.4 percent to 4.8 percent. In the 2020/21 financial year, the Zumtobel Group recorded a more than 100% increase in net profit to 45.6 million euros, despite a 7.7 percent decline in revenues due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Adjusted Group EBIT thus rose by 23.4 percent to 43.4 million euros. In the 2021/22 financial year, Group sales increased to 1,148.3 million euros and EBIT to 60.8 million euros. Net profit was 45.8 million euros.

The Bezirk Dornbirn is an administrative district (Bezirk) in Vorarlberg, Austria. A rather young district, it was separated from the Feldkirch district in 1969. The area of the district is 172.7 km2, the population 82,721 (January 1, 2012), which makes a population density of 479 persons per km2. The administrative center of the district is Dornbirn.

Haselstauden (also known as Hazeltown) has been the fourth district of Dornbirn, Austria since 1902, when Dornbirn was given the status of municipality. It's also the city's northernmost district.

The Staufen is a 1465 metre high mountain in the very western part of Austria. The mountaintop splits the two bordering cities, Dornbirn and Hohenems. The Staufen is connected to the Karren, which belongs to the city of Dornbirn.

Messepark is the largest shopping centre in Vorarlberg, Austria. It is located in Dornbirn right next to the Dornbirn exhibition area and the highway leading south of Dornbirn.

Messestadion is an indoor sporting arena located in Dornbirn, Austria. The arena has a capacity of 4,270 people and was built in 1999. It is currently the home arena of Dornbirner EC who play in the Austrian Hockey League and EC Bregenzerwald of the Alps Hockey League. In 2014 the stadium was renovated, adding a ColosseoEAS 38 SQM HD LED screen along with a smartphone platform that offers fans connectivity while at the stadium.
