Seegebiet Mansfelder Land was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the Mansfeld-Südharz district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was situated between Eisleben and Halle (Saale). The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Röblingen am See. Schraplau is a town in the Verbandsgemeinde Weida-Land, part of the district of Saalekreis, in the State of Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated approximately 8 km (5 mi) northeast of Querfurt. It is also considered part of the Halle-Leipzig metropolitan area.

Köthen (German: Bahnhof Köthen) is a railway station located in Köthen, Germany. The station is located on the Magdeburg-Leipzig railway, Dessau–Köthen railway and Köthen–Aschersleben railway. The train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn. The train services on the Köthen–Aken railway finished in December 2007, due to too few passengers.

Lüttchendorf is a village and a former municipality in the Mansfeld-Südharz district, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Seegebiet Mansfelder Land.

Böse Sieben (German for "evil seven") is a river of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, flowing through the town Eisleben. The Böse Sieben originates from the eastern regions of the Harz, the sources of the river are the Vietzbach (or Goldbach) and the Dippelsbach, which confluence in Ahlsdorf. Beside from that it has 8 tributaries, the Kliebigbach, Goldgrundbach, Pfaffengrundbach, Saugrundbach, Wolferöder Graben, Hünsche Born, Wilder Graben and the Kalte Graben. Because the river has caused many floods after heavy rainfalls it was named "Willerbach" (mansfeldian dialect for "wild river") in the past. Later in the 19th century it was named "Böse Sieben". It flows through the Süßen See and the Bindersee to the Kernersee, which has no natural outflow.

Esperstedt is a village and a former municipality in the Saalekreis district, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Obhausen.

Seegebiet Mansfelder Land is a municipality in the Mansfeld-Südharz district, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was formed on 1 January 2010 by the merger of the former municipalities Amsdorf, Aseleben, Erdeborn, Hornburg, Lüttchendorf, Neehausen, Röblingen am See, Seeburg, Stedten and Wansleben am See. On 1 September 2010 Dederstedt was absorbed into the municipality. These 11 former municipalities are now Ortschaften or municipal divisions of Seegebiet Mansfelder Land.
