Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian church in Dunbar, Pennsylvania. One of the first Presbyterian churches west of the Allegheny Mountains, it was founded in 1772 along with its sister Churches Tyrone, Middle, Sewickley, and United Presbyterian Churches. The original church was a simple log structure and was built by Scotch-Irish immigrants. As the congregation grew, the church was rebuilt in 1782, 1852, and most recently, 1898.The church is within the Presbytery of Redstone, a Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A.

It is owned by the Fayette County Airport Authority and serves the south-eastern segment of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The airport serves the general aviation community with no scheduled commercial airline service. The airport is named for Joseph A. Hardy, founder of 84 Lumber. Previously known as "Connellsville Airport," it was renamed in 2007 to recognize Hardy's support of improving the airport. Hardy, a Fayette County Commissioner at the time of the donation, gave the airport authority $800,000 for runway improvements.This airport is assigned a three-letter location identifier of VVS by the Federal Aviation Administration, but it does not have an International Air Transport Association (IATA) airport code.The airport property is home to other Fayette County entities and businesses: Fayette County Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Response Team. The Connellsville train wreck was a rail accident that occurred on December 23, 1903, on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad near Connellsville, Pennsylvania. The Duquesne Limited, a passenger train, derailed when it struck a load of timber lying on the tracks. The timber had fallen from a freight train minutes before the collision. The crash resulted in 64 deaths and 68 injuries.
