Droyßig

Droyßiger-Zeitzer Forst is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Before 1 January 2010, it was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft. It is situated west of Zeitz. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde is in Droyßig. The Verbandsgemeinde Droyßiger-Zeitzer Forst consists of the following municipalities: Droyßig1 Gutenborn Kretzschau Schnaudertal Wetterzeube

Döschwitz is a village and a former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Kretzschau. It is situated at Federal Road B 180 between Zeitz and Naumburg. The road is there part of the Romanic Road (German: Straße der Romanik), the most important scenic and cultural holiday road in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. The municipality consists of four villages: Döschwitz Gladitz Hollsteitz KirchsteitzDöschwitz is regionally well known for its sports club "Grün-Weiß Döschwitz". The club has five soccer teams: two for women, two for men and one for seniors. Further two teams play skittles.

Kretzschau is a municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in southern Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is part of the Verbandsgemeinde Droyßiger-Zeitzer Forst. As of December 2020, its population is 2,409. On 1 January 2010 it absorbed the former municipalities Döschwitz and Grana.

Breitenbach is a village and a former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Wetterzeube. An archaeological site dating to the Upper Palaeolithic was discovered near Breitenbach in 1925.
