Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania

Sharon Hill station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. It serves the Wilmington/Newark Line, with southbound service to Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and northbound service to Philadelphia. This station is about 1⁄2-mile (0.80 km) away from the Sharon Hill terminus of the SEPTA Route 102 trolley, although no direct connection exists between the two stations. It is not a staffed station and has no ticket machines. The historic station building, which was originally built in 1872, is abandoned and is to be restored. It is located at Sharon & Woodland Avenues. Amtrak trains pass through but do not stop.

Academy Park High School is a four-year public high school in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. It is currently the only high school in the Southeast Delco School District. Academy Park High School formed in fall 1982 and its building opened fall 1984. In the interim, the old Collingdale and Sharon Hill high schools were used as an east and west campus for the new school. The former Darby Township High School was converted into Ashland Middle School. Portions of the old Collingdale High School still stand, serving as the town’s borough hall and a municipal court, while the old Sharon Hill High School was demolished. Though the building is gone, the school’s former football field serves as home to the Academy Park Knights. Academy Park’s first principal, Agnes M. Paterson, was an active supporter of the school’s activities and students. She died unexpectedly in spring 1987 after attending a performance of the school district’s annual spring musical. The school’s auditorium has been named in her honor.

Curtis Park station is a station along the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. Amtrak does not stop here; the station is only served by SEPTA. The station is officially located at Elmwood Avenue near Calcon Hook Road in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. In reality it is located at the dead ends of Oak Avenue, one block east of Calcon Hook Road, and is accessible from Calcon Hook Road from Woodlawn Terrace on the north side of the tracks and Elmwood Avenue from the south side. Curtis Park was originally known as Academy prior to 1948. It was believed to have been named from a local branch of the Holy Child Academy which was once located nearby. The station has been closed and boarded up but still stands as a pair of platformed shelters, dividing Oak Avenue into two halves on either side of the railroad lines while Calcon Hook Road crosses over the lines. The station building was built by or for the Pennsylvania Railroad when the name was changed as the Curtis Publishing Company moved to town.

Sharon Hill station is a SEPTA Route 102 trolley stop in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. The terminus of Route 102, the single track ends where it meets Chester Pike (US 13). Trolleys arriving at this station originate from 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. The station has a shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining. It is also about a half-mile walking distance of the Sharon Hill Regional Rail station which serves the Wilmington/Newark Line (formerly R2). However, due to the narrow nature of the neighborhoods and the overall distance, no direct connection exists between the two stations. Though Sharon Hill is the terminus of the line, CSX's Philadelphia Subdivision freight line bridge crosses over the tracks between here and MacDade Boulevard station, resulting in the large dip upon entering the station from the north. Flooding often occurs in the underpass and as a result, shuttle buses between the two stations are used as substitutes for trolley cars.

Folcroft station is a SEPTA train station on the Wilmington/Newark Line in Pennsylvania. The line offers southbound service to Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and northbound service to Philadelphia. Located at Primos and Elmwood Avenues in Folcroft, the station has a 43-space parking lot. On May 28, 2009, SEPTA approved a $2.6 million rehabilitation effort which will include Folcroft station.

Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Chester Pike down in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. The station has a shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining. Between the MacDade Boulevard and Sharon Hill stops, CSX's Philadelphia Subdivision freight line bridge crosses over the tracks. The line dips very low under the freight line as a result, flooding occurs in the underpass with shuttle buses between the two stations being used as substitutes for trolley cars.

Andrews Avenue station is SEPTA Route 102 trolley stop in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. The station is officially located at Woodlawn & Andrews Avenues. This is the third to last station stop on the Route 102 line, and the second to last stop to run along Woodlawn Avenue. Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Chester Pike (US 13) in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. The station has a shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining. This shed is located on the north side of the grade crossing with Andrews Avenue at the end of a sidewalk platform. Because the stop is in a residential area, no parking is available.

Bartram Avenue station is a SEPTA Route 102 trolley station in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. The station is officially located at Woodlawn and Bartram Avenues. This is the fourth to last station stop on the Route 102 line, and the third to last stop to run along Woodlawn Avenue. Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Chester Pike (US 13) in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. Unlike the North Street stop, the Route 102 line travels on its own single track right-of-way on both sides of the road for which the station is named.

Darby Transportation Center is an intermodal transit station in Darby, Pennsylvania, run by SEPTA. It serves SEPTA Subway-Surface Trolley Lines 11 and 13 as well as SEPTA Suburban Division buses. Near the terminal, a mural can be found of a wall celebrating the arrival of the first Darby streetcars in 1858.The 13 line only serves the Darby Loop when cars are leaving service. Trolleys cannot enter heading westbound from Main Street, but can exit eastbound onto 9th Street following the 11 line tracks to the Elmwood Yard. Darby Transportation Center is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) from the SEPTA Regional Rail Darby station. No direct connection exists between the stations.

Darby Free Library is a public library at 1001 Main Street in Darby Borough, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Founded as the Darby Library Company in 1743 – just 12 years after Benjamin Franklin organized the Library Company of Philadelphia – it remains one of the oldest libraries in the United States. Although it was a subscription library until 1898, it claims to be "the oldest library in the United States in continuous service." The library celebrated its 275th anniversary in 2018.

Eden Cemetery is a historic African-American cemetery located in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. It was established June 20, 1902, and is the oldest existing black owned cemetery in the United States. The cemetery covers about 53 acres and contains approximately 93,000 burials.
