Diesdorf

Bornsen is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Jübar.

Dähre is a municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. A section of the Salzwedeler Dumme river flows through it. Since 2009 it has incorporated the former municipalities of Bonese and Lagendorf.

Beetzendorf-Diesdorf is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel (district), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Until 1 January 2010, it was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft. It is situated southwest of Salzwedel. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde is in Beetzendorf. The Verbandsgemeinde Beetzendorf-Diesdorf consists of the following municipalities: Apenburg-Winterfeld Beetzendorf Dähre Diesdorf Jübar Kuhfelde Rohrberg Wallstawe

The Salzwedeler Dumme is a left, western tributary of the Jeetzel (also: Jeetze) in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.

Bonese is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2009, it is part of the municipality Dähre.

Neuekrug is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Diesdorf. The municipality consisted of the three villages Höddelsen, Reddigau and Neuekrug. The Salzwedel Dumme river rises near Neuekrug-Höddelsen.

Lagendorf is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2009, it is part of the municipality Dähre.

The village of Ohrdorf lies in the north German state of Lower Saxony in the district of Gifhorn and belongs to the town of Wittingen. The village takes its name from the river Ohre, which rises near the village and empties into the Elbe north of Magdeburg. In East German times the state border ran down the centre of the Ohre not far from the village. The nearest settlement on the East German side was Haselhorst; but it was no longer accessible after the 1950s and the road link was not reopened until 1990. St. Laurence Church (Laurentius-Kirche), built in 1235, is a fieldstone church and has a Gothic polyptych from the year 1470. According to legend the altar was intended for a church in Wittingen. The wagon on which the altar was carried, broke a wheel in Ohrdorf, an incident that the villagers exploited in order to make the driver drunk and to take the altar for their own church. The pulpit dates to 1700, the ceiling paintings to 1711. North of Ohrdorf is a residential windmill.

Ellenberg is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 July 2009, it has been part of the municipality Wallstawe.

Langenapel is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town Salzwedel.

Wustrower Dumme is a river of the German states Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony. It is a roughly 32 kilometres (20 mi) long, and a left, western tributary of the Jeetzel (also: Jeetze).

Henningen is a village and a former municipality in the district Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town Salzwedel.
