The Boiling Springs Tavern was a restaurant located in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. The Boiling Springs Tavern was built in 1832 by Philip Brechbill in the Federal style with native limestone and originally was used as a hotel. Anheuser-Busch was its first owner.Today the Boiling Springs Tavern is closed and has been since the COVID-19 pandemic. It was previously a restaurant and bar.

Boiling Springs Historic District is a national historic district located at Boiling Springs, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 127 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 1 contributing structure associated with its role as an early iron manufacturing center and surrounding residential areas of Boiling Springs. Most of the contributing buildings date to the mid-19th century starting in 1845, with a few dated to the early period of development. The oldest buildings are a grist mill (c. 1750), the ironmaster's, Michael Ege, mansion (1795), and the restored Boiling Springs Tavern (1832). Other notable non-residential buildings include the former stone stables (1829) and forge building (1850s). Residential areas include notable examples of the Bungalow/craftsman, Late Victorian, and Federal styles. The contributing structure is a stone three-arched bridge (1854).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Boiling Springs High School (BSHS) is a small, rural, public high school in the historic town of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. It is part of the South Middleton School District. Boiling Springs High School is the sole high school operated by the district. In the 2016–2017 school year, enrollment was reported as 684 pupils in 9th through 12th grades.Boiling Springs High School students in 10th, 11th, or 12th grades may choose to attend Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School for training in the construction and mechanical trades; landscaping fields, computer systems; cosmetology; criminal justice and dental assisting fields. Students earned credits towards graduation, as well as industry certifications and college credits in some classes. The Capital Area Intermediate Unit IU15 provides the district with a wide variety of services like specialized education for disabled students and hearing, speech and visual disability services and professional development for staff and faculty. The school's colors are purple and gold. Their name and mascot is based on a famous bubbling spring that is the source of a nearby lake.

The radio studios and offices are on North Hanover Street in Carlisle. By day, WHYL is powered at 5,000 watts non-directional. But to protect other stations on 960 AM from interference at night, it drops its power to only 22 watts. The transmitter is on East Baltimore Street in Carlisle, near Interstate 81. Formed in 1999 and reorganized in 2013, the center consists of the Military History Institute (MHI), the Army Heritage Museum (AHM), the Historical Services Division (HSD), Visitor and Education Services (VES), the U.S. Army War College Library, and Collections Management (CM). The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center is part of the United States Army War College, but has its own 56-acre (230,000 m2) campus. The Heritage and Education Center makes available contemporary and historical materials related to strategic leadership, the global application of Landpower, and U.S. Army Heritage to inform research, educate an international audience, and honor Soldiers, past and present. The collections include material from as early as the Revolutionary War to current U.S. Army operations.
