Merge in Takapuna is a proposed mixed-use development / residential skyscraper proposed for Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. At about 100 metres, it would become the second tallest building in Takapuna, next to the Sentinel tower already built directly adjacent to the future site.

Takapuna is a suburb located on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. The suburb is situated at the beginning of a south-east-facing peninsula forming the northern side of the Waitematā Harbour. While very small in terms of population, it was the seat of the North Shore City Council before amalgamation into Auckland Council in 2010 and contains substantial shopping and entertainment areas, acting as a CBD for the North Shore.

Shore City Shopping Centre is an enclosed shopping centre in the North Shore suburb of Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand established in 1974. It was previously owned by Westfield Group and is now owned and managed by Precision Group. The mall is situated near Takapuna Beach.

The Devonport-Takapuna Local Board covers from Castor Bay, and Sunnynook south to the end of the Devonport Peninsula; it is separated from the Kaipātiki board area by the Northern Motorway. This local board sits in the Auckland Council office buildings on The Strand in Takapuna. These were the North Shore City Council offices until the North Shore City Council was merged into Auckland Council in 2010. It is part of the North Shore Ward of Auckland Council, which also includes the Kaipātiki Local Board.

The PumpHouse Theatre is an artist-led arts centre that presents theatre and other events in the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand.

The Frank Sargeson House is a 20th century cottage located in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, in the suburb of Takapuna. It was a home of New Zealand writer Frank Sargeson. It is now a museum, and is owned by the Frank Sargeson Trust.

The Takapuna Fossil Forest is a geographical feature located along the coastline between Takapuna Beach and Thorne Beach in Auckland, New Zealand. It consists of a series of basalt rock formations, which are the result of lava flows through an ancient forest. It is believed to be New Zealand's most well-preserved fossil forest.

Hauraki is a suburb located on the southern North Shore of Auckland, the largest metropolitan city in New Zealand. It is under the local governance of the Auckland Council.

St Mary's Seminary in Auckland, New Zealand, was established in 1850 by New Zealand's first Catholic bishop, Jean Baptiste François Pompallier. It operated until 1869.From his arrival in 1838, Pompallier had worked energetically to train priests locally for his new mission. In April 1850 he returned from a trip to Europe with ten seminarians and established a seminary in Auckland to complete their formation. The completion of the training of the new seminarians was carried out quickly so that within five weeks all but one of them were ordained.The seminary, which he named "St Mary's College", had Pompallier's Vicar General, the Rev. Louis Rozet, S.M., as its first Rector. It was first established on the North Shore of Auckland but was moved across Waitematā Harbour to Ponsonby in 1852. The original seminary site is now occupied by St Joseph's Catholic School. The Seminary survived for 19 years, until Pompallier retired and left New Zealand in 1869. St Mary's Seminary educated at least twenty-four priests, all of them European and some of them already part-trained in Ireland or France.The college also educated many Māori catechists, some of whom were encouraged to stay on for training for the priesthood. One, Keremeti Pine from Ōkaihau, was even sent to Rome, where for three years among seminarians from Africa and Asia, he spoke Latin and passable Italian. However, no Māori candidate for the priesthood was ordained at this time. The Māori catechists, however, proved to be the backbone of the development of the Catholic faith among the Māori during the remaining decades of the 19th century.

Lake Pupuke (traditionally known in Māori as Pupukemoana) is a heart-shaped freshwater lake occupying a volcanic crater (or maar) between the suburbs of Takapuna and Milford on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. The heart shape is a result of its formation by the linking of two circular craters – a larger one forming most of the lake and a smaller one forming the arm in the northeast. Separated from the sea by less than 200 m at one point, it has a circumference of about 4.5 km and reaches 57 m in depth. It is popular for recreational activities and the lakefront property around it.

Rosmini College is a state integrated Catholic secondary school for boys, situated in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. The school caters to Years 7-13 (Forms 1-7), and currently has a roll of approximately 1097. Founded in 1962 by Father Catcheside, the school was named after Antonio Rosmini, founder of the Institute of Charity. The school's motto is Legis Charitas Plenitudo, translated as 'Charity Fulfills the Law', or sometimes translated as 'Love Fulfills the Law'. Tom Gerrard was the school's principal from 1976 until 2014, making him New Zealand's longest serving principal.

Akoranga busway station is in Northcote, New Zealand, on the Northern Busway. It is adjacent to Auckland University of Technology's North Campus and linked to it by a footbridge over the Northern Motorway. It has shelters, electronic real-time information, and passenger drop off and pick up.It opened on 2 February 2008, the closest busway station to Britomart Transport Centre and the Auckland Harbour Bridge. It is the southernmost station on the busway. The next station northbound is Smales Farm busway station. Buses travelling via the station include double-decker buses serving the Northern Express NX1 and NX2 routes.
