Petty Island

Port Richmond is a neighborhood in the River Wards section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It is notable for its extremely large Polish immigrant and Polish American community. The neighborhood is also home to a large Irish American community and sizable German and Italian communities as represented in the various churches and organizations. In more recent years, a sizable Albanian community has moved in. The Richmond Zip Code is 19134. A small portion of the neighborhood, north of Castor Avenue, falls into the 19137 ZIP code. The neighborhood is bounded by the Frankford Creek to the northeast, Lehigh Avenue to the southwest, the Delaware River to the east, and Kensington and Allegheny Avenues to the northwest. While some have referred to Port Richmond as Richmond, there is an area named Richmond, not colloquially used often, that refers to the most northeastern section of the neighborhood (the area north of Allegheny Avenue up to Frankford Creek). Adjacent neighborhoods are Bridesburg to the northeast, Juniata to the north, Harrowgate to the northwest and Kensington to the south.

Cramer Hill is a neighborhood in the East Camden section of the City of Camden, New Jersey. Cramer Hill (and the entire section of East Camden) was formed upon the annexation of Stockton town by the City of Camden on March 24, 1899. In the early days of East Camden, Cramer Hill was one of several constituent neighborhood names that included Pavonia, Beideman, Stockton, Rosedale, and Marlton. The Pavonia name has become obsolete; Beideman was once known as "North Cramer Hill". The boundaries of Cramer Hill are sometimes considered to be State Street to the south, the Pavonia Railroad Yard and railroad lines to the east, 36th Street (also the border with Pennsauken Township) to the north, and the Delaware River to the west. Cramer Hill is located in the northeastern section of Camden. The primary road running through Cramer Hill is River Road, which runs southwest to northeast. River Road is a county road known as CR 543. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, the neighborhood has a population of 4,358.The 36th Street station of the River Line light rail system is located at the northern end of the neighborhood. The 35-acre Cramer Hill Nature Preserve opened in 2019 and is connected to Petty Island by a bridge at 36th Street.

Richmond District, also known as Port Richmond District, is a defunct district that was located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, United States. The district ceased to exist and was incorporated into the City of Philadelphia following the passage of the Act of Consolidation, 1854.

The United States lightship Barnegat (LV-79/WAL-506), is located in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The lightship was built in 1904 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 29 November 1979.

The name Beideman has been frequently misspelled as "Biedman" or "Biedeman". The East Camden neighborhoods of Beideman and Pavonia are also considered part of the neighborhood of Cramer Hill.

Penn-Jersey Shipbuilding Corp. of Camden, New Jersey was a shipyard opened in March 1940 to build ships for World War II under the Emergency Shipbuilding Program. The shipyard was on Cooper Point at north end of North 5th Street at 39.957309°N 75.117501°W / 39.957309; -75.117501. After building 29 vessels Penn-Jersey Shipbuilding Corp. closed in June 1945 after building its last vessels.

Joseph Cooper House is located in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1695 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 14, 1973, for its significance in architecture. A fire, about 2005, destroyed the roof. The ruins of the building are planned to become a pavilion in the surrounding park.

The school was closed in 2013 as part of Philadelphia's shutdown of 23 district-run schools.
