Cairn University is a private Christian university in Langhorne Manor and Middletown Township, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1913, the university has six schools: Divinity, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, and Music. As of Fall 2021 the university will be closing their Social Work program to new students, with existing students within the program allowed to complete their existing program. All students take a minimum of 30 semester hours of Bible classes.

On May 29, 2009, SEPTA announced a $2.3 million plan to replace the existing station. On April 6, 2010, the original station was demolished in order to make room for its replacement. It is near the borough limits of Penndel.

Langhorne Speedway was an automobile racetrack in Middletown Township, Bucks County, near the borough of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Philadelphia. According to the book Langhorne! No Man's Land by L. Spencer Riggs: "With all other courses up to that time being fairground horse tracks, Langhorne was the first [one-]mile dirt track built specifically for cars". High-profile American racing clubs like the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), American Automobile Association (AAA), and United States Auto Club (USAC) made Langhorne one of the stops on their national circuits. These events included AMA-sanctioned National Championship Motorcycle races between 1935 and 1956, AAA-sanctioned Championship Car races between 1930 and 1955, and USAC-sanctioned Championship Car races from 1956 to 1970. The USAC races featured (and were won by) notable racers such as A. J. Foyt, Mario Andretti, Al Unser, Bobby Unser, Gordon Johncock, Lloyd Ruby, and Eddie Sachs. Langhorne was also featured prominently in NASCAR's early years, and hosted at least one NASCAR-sanctioned race every year from 1949 to 1957.

Harewood and Beechwood, also known as Woods School, are two historic homes located about four miles apart in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Harewood was originally built about 1788 as a farmhouse. The original structure is located behind the main house constructed in 1906. Harewood is an irregularly shaped, multi-level dwelling with a five-story main section. The main section has a broken-hipped roof and features Palladian windows. Beechwood was built in 1853, and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, fieldstone dwelling with a gable roof. It has a two-story, stuccoed stone rear addition. Both houses were built as country mansions and later acquired as a school for handicapped children known as the Woods School. Harewood was acquired in 1924 and Beechwood in 1944.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The district includes 103 contributing buildings, 3 contributing structures, and 1 contributing object in the borough of Hulmeville. They include a variety of residential, commercial, and institutional buildings, some of which are representative of the vernacular Greek Revival, Federal, and Late Victorian styles. Notable buildings include the John Pryor / John Hulme House (c. 1794), Edward Hicks House (c. 1808), Johnson's Hall (1871), Hulmeville Borough Hall (1894), Silas Barkley Mill (1880), and the Episcopal church (1851).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

There is a food court on the second floor, which was originally the second floor of a Woolworth. An office building called One Oxford Valley is located next to the mall.

Langhorne Manor School, now known as Langhorne Manor Borough Hall, is a historic one-room school building located at Langhorne Manor, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1891, and is a small 1+1⁄2-story building with stone faced wood frame walls and a slate covered hipped roof in the Queen Anne style. It measures 33 feet wide by 43 feet deep. The roof features two eyelid dormers and a gable dormer with fishscale shingles. The school was converted to Borough Hall in 1959.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The mailing address "Langhorne" is used for Langhorne Borough but it is also used broadly to describe the majority of surrounding Middletown Township, which for the most part uses Langhorne's ZIP code of 19047. Sesame Place, while physically located in surrounding Middletown Township, has Langhorne as its mailing address. Langhorne also includes the northeastern part of Lower Southampton Township, which uses the ZIP code 19053. Langhorne Borough is approximately six miles west of the Delaware River. Langhorne Manor is a separate borough that borders Langhorne Borough proper to the south.

Joseph Richardson House, also known as the Langhorne Community Memorial Building, is a historic home located in Langhorne, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1738, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, stuccoed stone dwelling with a gable roof. It has an original 1+1⁄2-story, gambrel roofed stone addition. It is one of the oldest structures in Bucks County and was home to the Richardson family from its construction into the 20th century. In 1919, the Richardson family sold the home and it was acquired as a memorial to those who served in World War I. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It is located in the Langhorne Historic District, listed in 1987.
