Langhorne Speedway was an automobile racetrack in Middletown Township, Bucks County, near the borough of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Philadelphia. According to the book Langhorne! No Man's Land by L. Spencer Riggs: "With all other courses up to that time being fairground horse tracks, Langhorne was the first [one-]mile dirt track built specifically for cars". High-profile American racing clubs like the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), American Automobile Association (AAA), and United States Auto Club (USAC) made Langhorne one of the stops on their national circuits. These events included AMA-sanctioned National Championship Motorcycle races between 1935 and 1956, AAA-sanctioned Championship Car races between 1930 and 1955, and USAC-sanctioned Championship Car races from 1956 to 1970. The USAC races featured (and were won by) notable racers such as A. J. Foyt, Mario Andretti, Al Unser, Bobby Unser, Gordon Johncock, Lloyd Ruby, and Eddie Sachs. Langhorne was also featured prominently in NASCAR's early years, and hosted at least one NASCAR-sanctioned race every year from 1949 to 1957.

Sesame Place is a children's theme park and water park, located outside of Philadelphia in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania (with a Langhorne mailing address). It is the oldest of two theme parks in the United States based entirely on the children's educational television program Sesame Street (the other is in San Diego, California) and includes a variety of rides, shows and water attractions suited for young children. It is also the first theme park in the world to become a certified autism center. Sesame Place is one of the twelve theme parks owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, which operates under an exclusive license from Sesame Workshop, the non-profit owner of Sesame Street.

Woodbourne station is a train station located on Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania along the SEPTA West Trenton Line which terminates at West Trenton station in Ewing, New Jersey, and also on the CSX Trenton Subdivision which has a freight yard not far by the station. In FY 2013, Woodbourne station had a weekday average of 702 boardings and 661 alightings.

Oxford Valley is an unincorporated community in Falls Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was once small village of about 25 farm houses, a general store and post office prior to the Mall construction. It's believed the village of Oxford was settled around 1796. Oxford Valley is located near the intersection of U.S. Route 1 Business and Oxford Valley Road. The Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place amusement park are located nearby.

The Sotcher Farmhouse, also known as "Three Arches," is an historic, American home that is located in Fairless Hills, Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Middletown Township is a township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 46,040 at the 2020 census. Many sections of Levittown, Pennsylvania, are located in the southern end of the township. The municipality surrounds the boroughs of Langhorne, Langhorne Manor, Penndel and Hulmeville; much of the township beyond Levittown uses Langhorne, Pennsylvania as a mailing address. Also located within the township is Core Creek Park. The township also has many acres of protected woods, the largest being the woods behind Neshaminy High School. The Neshaminy Creek flows through these woods. There are also a few protected farms, significantly that of Styer's Orchards, which was saved from turning into the site of 632 homes in the late 1990s. Sesame Place is located in Middletown Township.

Amos Palmer House is a historic farmhouse located in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The original section was built about 1760, and is a two-story, double pile brick structure on a stone foundation. The house subsequently had four additions: a 2+1⁄2-story, single pile stone structure built about 1810; a 1+1⁄2-story, stone and rubble structure and frame shed roofed kitchen added about 1870; a two-story, frame kitchen addition built about 1900; and a small frame shed dated between about 1940 and 1980. The house is in the Georgian style.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Harewood and Beechwood, also known as Woods School, are two historic homes located about four miles apart in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Harewood was originally built about 1788 as a farmhouse. The original structure is located behind the main house constructed in 1906. Harewood is an irregularly shaped, multi-level dwelling with a five-story main section. The main section has a broken-hipped roof and features Palladian windows. Beechwood was built in 1853, and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, fieldstone dwelling with a gable roof. It has a two-story, stuccoed stone rear addition. Both houses were built as country mansions and later acquired as a school for handicapped children known as the Woods School. Harewood was acquired in 1924 and Beechwood in 1944.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
