State Line is an unincorporated community in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located just north of Cumberland and Frostburg, Maryland.

Ellerslie is part of the Cumberland, MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community is named for Elderslie, Scotland, the birthplace of Scottish hero William Wallace.

The Greek Revival house was built circa 1845, possibly by John Jacob Smouse, and exhibits a level of historically accurate detailing unusual for the area. The property includes a late 19th-century barn and several frame outbuildings.

Union Grove Schoolhouse is a historic one-room school building in Dickens, Allegany County, Maryland. It is a one-story frame building, rectangular in plan, containing a single classroom and an entrance vestibule. It is the last remaining one-room schoolhouse on its original site and in unaltered condition in Allegany County.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The home was erected for John Jacob Smouse, who operated the mill.The Phoenix Mill Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.Was used as a Bed and Breakfast till 2015 when the owner decided to sell the property.

Folck's Mill is a site containing the remains of a historic grist and saw complex located near Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland. The stone foundation of the mill, measuring 30 feet by 40 feet, is the principal feature of the site. It is historically significant for its association with the August 1, 1864, Civil War "Battle of Folck's Mill." In that battle, Union troops commanded by General Benjamin F. Kelley engaged General John McCausland’s Confederate forces as they advanced along the Baltimore Pike towards Cumberland after having burned the town of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, two days previously.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

As of the 2010 census it had a population of 353.Pleasant Grove is located east of Cumberland along Maryland Route 144 (Baltimore Pike), the old alignment of U.S. Route 40. Interstate 68, the new highway alignment, also runs through the CDP, with access via Exit 47 at the western end of the community.
