Calais-Fréthun station (French: Gare de Calais-Fréthun) is an SNCF international railway station in the suburbs of Calais, France. It is one of four stations serving the town; the others are Calais-Ville in the town centre, Fontinettes in the suburbs, and Beau Marais in the suburbs. The station has four platforms, two on the high-speed line for Eurostar services, and two for SNCF TER Hauts-de-France regional services. The TER platforms are also used by some TGV long-distance services.

The Eurotunnel Calais Terminal is a railway terminal built for the transport of road-going vehicles on specially constructed trains through the Channel Tunnel. The station is located in the commune of Coquelles in the Pas-de-Calais department near the city of Calais. It is the terminal for the France and by extension the rest of Continental Europe. On the British side is the Eurotunnel Folkestone Terminal located at Cheriton, near Folkestone. The passenger service building at the Eurotunnel Calais Terminal is called the Charles Dickens Terminal, named for the British author Charles Dickens.

Hames-Boucres (French pronunciation: [am bukʁ]) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France.

Cité Europe is a shopping centre located next to the French terminal of the Channel Tunnel at Coquelles. Inaugurated on 21 March 1995, approximately 10 months after the Tunnel opened, Cité Europe has over 140 shops, a hypermarket, a 12-screen cinema complex and around twenty restaurants. Designed by architect Paul Andreu, it is intended to echo the design of the Tunnel. It is easily accessible by public transport, and has free parking for more than 4000 cars.

Les Fontinettes station (French: Gare des Fontinettes) is a railway station in Calais, France. It is on a triangular junction, where the Coudekerque-Branche–Fontinettes railway, Lille–Fontinettes railway and Boulogne–Calais railway all meet. Some trains pass through the station twice, before and after calling at Calais-Ville. The station is served by TER Hauts-de-France trains travelling from Calais-Ville to Hazebrouck, Dunkirk and Boulogne. It has four platforms.

Coquelles (French pronunciation: [kɔkɛl]; West Flemish: Kalkwelle) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department near Calais in northern France. The town comprises a shopping centre, hotels and farm in Vieille Coquelles (old Coquelles), part of the L'Européenne autoroute (A16) and the Channel Tunnel terminal. The Eurotunnel Calais Terminal is located in Coquelles off the A16, exit 42. This is the terminus of shuttle services from the UK, as well as the terminus of the LGV Nord, whereby Eurostar services can travel into the Channel Tunnel.

It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of part of the commune of Calais, and its population was 20,623 in 2012.

The Pas-de-Calais borders the departments of Nord and Somme and is connected to the English county of Kent via the Channel Tunnel.

The Canal de Calais connects the Aa River near Ruminghem to the inner basins of the Port of Calais. Many boats enter the French canal system through the port of Calais and this canal. It is 30 km long and has 3 locks.
