WAMO (660 kHz) is an AM radio station serving the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, market. The station, which was purchased by Martz Communications Group (through its Radio Power subsidiary) from Langer Broadcasting in December 2010, broadcasts with a power of 1,400 watts, daytime only (to protect the nighttime signal of WFAN in New York City on the same frequency), and is licensed to Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Its studios and AM transmitter are located in Braddock east of Pittsburgh. It operates a translator, W297BU on 107.3 FM in Pittsburgh. WAMO is operated by Audacy, Inc. under a local marketing agreement (LMA).

W261AX is a translator station serving the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania market, broadcasting on 100.1 MHz on the FM dial with a power of 99 watts. The station is owned by Martz Communications Group (through its Radio Power subsidiary), but broadcasts the programming of Audacy, Inc.-owned news/talk station KDKA (1020 AM). From 2011 to 2020, the translator carried a mainstream urban format, for most of that time in conjunction with Martz-owned WAMO (660 AM).

Woodland Hills School District is a public school district located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, serving twelve municipalities in the Pittsburgh area; Braddock, Braddock Hills, Chalfant, Churchill, East Pittsburgh, Edgewood, Forest Hills, North Braddock, Rankin, Swissvale, Turtle Creek and Wilkins Township (except for a small portion).Woodland Hills School District encompasses approximately 12 square miles (31 km2). According to 2000 federal census data, it serves a resident population of 52,876. Woodland Hills School District was formed in July 1981 by a mandated merger of Edgewood, General Braddock, Swissvale, Churchill and Turtle Creek school districts. The Woodland Hills School District is unique in that it was formed by a court order (one of only three such districts so formed in Pennsylvania) in 1982 as a result of a Civil Rights Act lawsuit filed by various residents of the prior school districts. It was formed from an amalgamation of seven separate districts in the eastern region of Allegheny County in suburban Pittsburgh. The suit was filed to address the fact that the seven districts were all composed almost exclusively of all white or all black student enrollments. This resulted in African American students being transported long distances past all White schools and vice versa. The resultant court order created a single large school district of over 7,000 students comprised almost equally of white and black students.Woodland Hills School District is bordered by eight other school districts: Pittsburgh S.D., Penn Hills S.D., Gateway S.D., East Allegheny S.D., Wilkinsburg Borough S.D. Also bordering (but across the Monongahela River from) Woodland Hills School District, is: West Mifflin S.D., Steel Valley S.D., and Duquesne City S.D. Woodland Hills School District's sports size classification is "AAAAA" (5A), which is the second largest of the PIAA's six classifications (single A through 6A).

Braddock Hills is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States, and is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. Braddock Hills is located approximately 8 miles (13 km) east of downtown Pittsburgh. The population of Braddock Hills was 1,880 at the 2010 census.

Woodland Hills Junior / Senior High School is a large, suburban public high school providing grades 9-12 for the Woodland Hills School District located in Churchill, Pennsylvania, USA. It serves the communities of Braddock, Braddock Hills, Chalfant, Churchill, East Pittsburgh, Edgewood, Forest Hills, North Braddock, Rankin, Swissvale, Turtle Creek and Wilkins Township. In April 2014, the principal, Dan Stephens, retired and an interim principal was appointed. Woodland Hills Junior / Senior High School was the result of a 1981 court-ordered desegregation merger. Before the merger, it was named Churchill High School. In the 2018–2019 school year, enrollment was reported as 1,381 pupils in 9th through 12th grades.Students may attend Forbes Road CTC for training in the trades. The Allegheny Intermediate Unit IU3 provides the school with a wide variety of services like specialized education for disabled students and hearing, speech and visual disability services and professional development for staff and faculty.

Churchill Area High School was a secondary school that taught students in grades 10-12 for the Churchill Area School District located in Churchill, Pennsylvania, a close suburb of Pittsburgh. In 1987, the school (a.k.a. "CAHS") was merged with surrounding schools into Woodland Hills High School, at its present site due to a 1981 court-ordered desegregation merger.

North Braddock is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. North Braddock was organized from a part of Braddock Township in 1897. The borough prides itself in being the "Birth Place of Steel" as the home of Andrew Carnegie's Edgar Thomson Steel Works that opened in 1875. North Braddock is a suburb 11 miles (18 km) east of Pittsburgh with a 15-minute travel time to the city. The borough is located in the valley along the Monongahela River, and is made up of three jurisdictional voting wards. The 2010 census had the borough population at 4,857, a great decline from the 1930 population of 16,782. The decline is due largely to the diminishing steel industry in the region.

Churchill is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,011 at the 2010 census. The town was named from the hilltop Beulah Presbyterian Church.

Braddock's Battlefield History Center is a small American museum and visitors center on the site of the Battle of the Monongahela of 9 July 1755. It features a collection of art, documents, and artifacts about the Braddock Expedition and the French and Indian War as it unfolded at the Forks of the Ohio. Located seven miles (10 km) east of downtown Pittsburgh in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, it is housed in a renovated car dealership along with a small gymnastics company on a three-acre parcel on a hillside that overlooks the Monongahela River Valley and the historic Edgar Thomson Works of United States Steel. The museum was created by Robert T. Messner, a retired Pittsburgh lawyer and grandfather, with the support of local foundations, and it opened to the public on 18 August 2012. In December 2018, Mr. Messner donated the History Center to Fort Ligonier, which will operate the Center beginning in May 2019.

Braddock's Field is a historic battlefield on the banks of the Monongahela River, at Braddock, Pennsylvania, near the junction of Turtle Creek, about nine miles southeast of the "Forks of the Ohio" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Here, in 1755, was fought the Battle of the Monongahela which ended the Braddock Expedition.

Edgewood Country Club, is a private golf, social, and tennis club located in Churchill, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Country Club was founded in 1898 in Edgewood, Pennsylvania and then moved in 1921 to Churchill where Donald Ross designed its new golf course while also working on the design of the well-known Pinehurst No. 2.
