Dent de Vaulion

Col du Mont d'Orzeires (el. 1060 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Jura Mountains in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. The pass road runs on side road 152a from Le Pont (1008 m a.s.l.), a village in the municipality of L'Abbaye, northeast along lake Brenet, over the Col du Mont d'Orzeires, past Pierre Punex (1061 m a.s.l.) and continues to Chalêt du Mont d'Orzeires (1029 m a.s.l.), where the Juraparc animal park is located. After a few bends, the road runs from a height of 950 m a.s.l. to the east to La Dernier (764 m a.s.l.) and Vallorbe (749 m a.s.l.). The pass connects the Valle de Joux through the narrows between the Risoux range and the Dent de Vaulion (1483 m a.s.l.) with main road 9 near Vallorbe.

Lac Brenet is a lake in the Vallée de Joux, canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It is located north of the Lac de Joux, only 200 metres away. Its elevation of 1002 metres is 2 metres below that of Lac de Joux. The lake used to drain naturally underground and the water resurfaced at the source of the Orbe River. Today the lake is used as a reservoir of the hydroelectric plant at Vallorbe.

Le Pont railway station (French: Gare de Le Pont) is a railway station in the municipality of L'Abbaye, in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Vallorbe–Le Brassus line of Swiss Federal Railways and Travys.

Vallorbe railway station (French: Gare de Vallorbe) is a station at the border of Switzerland and France on the TGV Lyria line between Paris and Lausanne. It is located at the south-eastern entrance of the tunnel which tunnels one of Jura's mountain ranges, Le Mont d’Or. The station serves the municipality of Vallorbe, in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Opened in 1915, the station is the south-eastern terminus of the historic French Dijon–Vallorbe line, and the north-western terminus of the historic Swiss Simplon line (Vallorbe–Domodossola). It is also the terminal station of the hourly running, suburban train S2 to Lausanne and further to Palézieux. Finally, it is also a junction for the short line to the south-western end of the Vallée de Joux, also running on an hourly frequency and connects to the historic Chemin de fer Pont-Brassus between Le Pont and Le Brassus, which nowadays is owned by travys (Transports Vallée de Joux - Yverdon-les-Bains - Ste-Croix). The line between Vallorbe and Le Brassus is operated by CFF. The railway station (as well as the line between Vallorbe and Le Pont) is owned and operated by CFF. They are all part of the integrated mobilis (canton of Vaud) fare network. It is listed as a Swiss heritage site of national significance (class A).

Col du Mollendruz (el. 1180 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Jura Mountains in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It connects L'Isle and Les Charbonnières.

Mont d'Or (French: Le Mont d'Or) is a mountain of the Jura, located in the French department of Doubs and extending into the Swiss canton of Vaud. Its main summit is 1,463 metre-high and lies within France, 500 metres north of the border with Switzerland (1,380 m). The mountain is located between Jougne, France and Vallorbe, Switzerland. Mont d'Or is notable for its limestone cirque on the east side. Near the highest point of the Swiss border is the Cabane du Mont d'Or, a mountain hut owned by the Swiss Alpine Club. In winter, Mont d'Or also includes a ski area within France. Several ski lifts are located on both west and east sides of the mountain.
