Midwest City High School is one of two high schools in Midwest City, Oklahoma, United States. The school is part of the Mid-Del School District, and serves more than 1,600 students.

Heritage Park Mall is located on the northwest corner of Reno and Air Depot Rd. The property sits on about 39 acres and was the only shopping mall in Midwest City.

Rose State College is a public community college in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Crutcho is an unincorporated community in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, United States, on the outskirts of Oklahoma City. It is located near the intersection of US Highway 62 (Northeast 23rd Street) and Air Depot Boulevard. It took its name from Crutcho Creek, which flows through the community. The creek, in turn, took its name from the Crutch-O Ranch which operated in the area prior to opening of Old Oklahoma for settlement.

Star Spencer High School is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1901 a group of people from Spencer County, Indiana relocated in Oklahoma. They built an elevator and mill, a grocery store and later a hardware store. They named their new town Spencer for their old home and eventually called their school Spencer as well. Star School (in a nearby area) was named by Henry Dodd in honor of a school in Kansas where he had lived previously. Two schools merged to become Star Spencer in 1956. The official mascot for the school is the Bobcats. Star Spencer is part of the Oklahoma City Public Schools. Notable alumnus include Mr. Myron Jacobs and Mr. Daniel Peoples. Alumni also include Dr. Lahoma Hicks Schultz, noted psychologist, author and lecturer. The football stadium (Carl Twidwell Stadium) was named after Carl Twidwell, athletic director, football coach, and vice principal. All graduates of Star Spencer High School, with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, have the opportunity to receive free tuition and mandatory fees if they attend Rose State College, a community college in Midwest City, through the Ticket to Rose program.

Spencer is a city in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, United States, and a part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The population was 3,912 at the 2010 census. Established in 1903, the City of Spencer is a historic community located just east of the North Canadian River. Spencer is approximately ten miles from downtown Oklahoma City and borders the cities of Nicoma Park to the east and Midwest City to the south. Tinker Air Force Base (IATA: TIK, ICAO: KTIK, FAA LID: TIK) is a major United States Air Force base, with tenant U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense missions, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, adjacent to Del City and Midwest City. The base, originally known as the Midwest Air Depot, is named in honor of Oklahoma native Major General Clarence L. Tinker, the first Native American major general.Tinker is the headquarters of the Air Force Materiel Command's (AFMC) Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC), which is the worldwide manager for a wide range of aircraft, engines, missiles, software and avionics and accessories components. The commander of Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) is Lieutenant General Tom D. Miller and the commander of the OC-ALC is Major General Jeffrey R. King. The host unit at Tinker is the 72nd Air Base Wing (72 ABW) which provides services and support for the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center and its tenant organizations. The Wing and Installation Commander of Tinker Air Force Base is Colonel Abigail L. W. Ruscetta.

The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is one of the largest units in the Air Force Materiel Command. The complex performs programmed depot maintenance on the C/KC-135, B-1B, B-52 and E-3 aircraft; expanded phase maintenance on the Navy E-6 aircraft; and maintenance, repair and overhaul of F100, F101, F108, F110, F117, F118, F119, F135, and TF33 engines for the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, Navy and foreign military sales. Additionally, the complex is responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of a myriad of Air Force and Navy airborne accessory components, and the development and sustainment of a diverse portfolio of operational flight programs, test program sets, automatic test equipment, and industrial automation software.It was established as the Oklahoma Air Depot Control Area Command on 19 Jan 1943. Activated on 1 Feb 1943. Redesignated as: Oklahoma City Air Service Command on 17 May 1943; Oklahoma City Air Technical Service Command on 14 Nov 1944; Oklahoma Air Materiel Area on 2 Jul 1946; Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center on 1 Apr 1974; Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex on 10 Jul 2012. On 15 January 1988, the 2871st Test Squadron was activated at Tinker Air Force Base, assigned to the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center. It was redesignated the 10th Test Squadron on 1 October 1992. It was inactivated on 18 March 1994, and its resources and personnel absorbed by the 10th Flight Test Squadron.

Del City High School is the only public high school located in Del City, Oklahoma, U.S., and one of three high schools in the Mid-Del School District. The school opened in 1953. According to GreatSchools.org, the high school is rated above Midwest City High School and below Carl Albert High School, the other two high schools in the district. The school serves approximately 1,254 students. About a third of graduating students attend a four-year college.

Del City is named after Epperly's eldest daughter, Delaphene Campbell. Since its incorporation Del City has expanded three times, first by annexing Carter Park in 1954, Midway Village in 1963 and the acquisition of an undeveloped piece of land between the city and Tinker AFB A large area of Del City was significantly impacted by the May 3, 1999, tornado outbreak that passed through the Oklahoma City metro area.

Christian Heritage Academy (CHA) is a private Christian school located in Del City, Oklahoma, United States. Established in 1972, CHA instructs its students in an American Christian philosophy of education through the Principle Approach methodology. Enrollment includes students from grades pre-Kindergarten through twelve. The mascot of the Christian Heritage Academy is the Crusader. The school colors are red, white and blue.

Oklahoma City Air Force Station (ADC ID: P-52, NORAD-ID: Z-52) is a closed Cold War United States Air Force air defense and communications-electronics headquarters and radar station. It was located 10 miles (16 km) east-southeast of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, just to the southeast of Tinker Air Force Base. It ceased to be a separate Air Force installation on 1 October 1983, when it merged with Tinker.
