St. Louis Church is a historic Roman Catholic church in Louisville, Ohio. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.It was built in 1870–75 in a French Gothic/High Victorian Gothic style. It is rectangular, 60 by 130 feet (18 m × 40 m) in plan, with two square 100 feet (30 m) tall towers. It served a community of French Catholic immigrants who left eastern France in 1826 and settled here. A brick church was built by 1838, which was demolished in 1869 to make room for the present church which was completed in 1875. It was designed by parish priest Father Louis Hoffer reportedly after the design of a small village cathedral in France. Its interior was designed by Cleveland architect Frank Walsh.

Louisville High School is a public high school located in Louisville, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Louisville City School District. It serves all of the city of Louisville and the majority of the surrounding Nimishillen Township.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School (STA) is a private, Catholic co-educational high school located in Louisville, Ohio, United States, run by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown. It was founded in 1964 to serve the Catholic families of eastern Stark County and parts of Portage County. When it opened, Aquinas enrolled both male and female students, but was a single-sex educational institution, as boys and girls attended classes within separate wings of the school. STA began practicing its current co-educational format in 1970.

East Canton High School is a public high school in East Canton, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Osnaburg Local School District. Although the school's athletic teams have the mascot of the Hornets, the East Canton's girls' basketball team is nicknamed the Wizards. The East Canton boys cross country team has also been nicknamed the packmen due to their excellent pack running.

East Canton is a village in central Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,521 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Canton–Massillon metropolitan area.

The Clearview Golf Club (also Clearview Golf Course) was the first golf course in the United States to be built, owned, and operated by an African American. The club was started in 1946, with Bill Powell purchasing the land and working on it in his spare time. It opened to the public and to all races in April 1948. The club, which is located outside of East Canton, Ohio, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Bill Powell's daughter, Renee Powell who learned to play on Clearview, went on to become the second black woman to play on the LPGA tour.

Pleasant View School for the Arts, frequently referred to as PVSA or simply PV, was a co-educational public magnet school dedicated to the arts in the Plain Local School District in Canton, Ohio. Students from the district's 5 elementary schools were invited to "identify" for the school in the 3rd grade. This "identification" process had students demonstrate their abilities in the four designated Arts: Dance, Music, Drama, and Visual Art. The school accepted an average of 80 students per year, and spanned the 4th-8th grade, though it was technically identified as a middle school.

Plain Township is one of the seventeen townships of Stark County, Ohio, United States. The 2010 census found 52,501 people in the township, 35,543 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township. Located near the city of Canton, it is one of the more populous urban townships in Ohio.
