Oregon Public Schools is a school district in Northwest Ohio. The school district serves students who live in the cities of Oregon, Curtice, and Jerusalem Twp. in Lucas County. The superintendent is Hal Gregory.

The Toledo Academy of Beauty is a nationally accredited cosmetology school located in Toledo, Ohio. The school is not affiliated with one product or company. There are two programs available: students may take classes specializing in Esthetics or Manicuring. Toledo Academy of Beauty is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau of Toledo. The school approved by the Ohio State Board of Education, accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences (NACCAS), and licensed by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology.

Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School (CSCHS), is a private, Catholic, coeducational, college prep secondary school located in Oregon, Ohio. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo.

The Bulgarian Diocese of the Orthodox Church in America (also known as the Bulgarian Diocese of Toledo, and originally known as the Bulgarian Diocese in Exile) is one of three ethnic dioceses of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). It was created in 1963 by Eastern Orthodox Christians of Bulgarian and Macedonian descent. Its territory includes parishes, monasteries, and missions located in seven states in the United States: California, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, and Washington, D.C. The first bishop of the diocese was the Most Reverend Kyrill (Yonchev), who also served as the Archbishop of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. After his repose on June 17, 2007, Metropolitan Herman served as locum tenens of the diocese until the election of Archimandrite Alexander (Golitzin) on October 4, 2011. On May 5, 2012, he was consecrated as bishop of the diocese during a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at Saint George Orthodox Cathedral in Rossford, Ohio.

WMIM (98.3 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Luna Pier, Michigan, and serving the Toledo metropolitan area. It is owned by Cumulus Media and it airs a country music radio format, concentrating on the hits from the 1980s, 90s and early 2000s. It uses the moniker Nash Icon, a format programmed on several other Cumulus-owned stations around the country, including WSM-FM Nashville. WKKO (99.9 FM) is a commercial radio station in Toledo, Ohio with a country music format. It is owned by Cumulus Media. The station's studios are located in Toledo, and its transmitter is located in Harbor View, Ohio.

The Oregon Clean Energy Center (OCEC) is a combined-cycle natural gas-fired generation facility located in Oregon, Ohio. The facility has the capability to generate 960 net megawatts of capacity and can produce electricity for more than 700,000 homes. It was developed and financed in direct response to the robust wholesale price signal provided by PJM Interconnections's capacity and energy markets. The OCEC uses two Siemens SGT6-8000H gas turbines and one steam turbine, currently the most advanced on the market. Designed to be the most efficient generating facility in the mid-Atlantic power markets, OCEC emits 90% less sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, mercury and fine particulate matter than coal-fired power plants; as well as 50% less carbon dioxide and 33% less water than traditional coal plants of the same size.

Pearson Metropark is a regional park in Oregon, Ohio, owned and managed by Metroparks Toledo. It is one of the few remnants left of the Great Black Swamp. The park contains old-growth forest and wetlands. The park contains a pond with paddle boat rentals in the summer months and sledding in the winter months. Pearson Metropark hosts an annual waterfowl festival.

ProMedica Bay Park Hospital (formerly Bay Park Community Hospital) is a public hospital in Oregon, Ohio that is part of the ProMedica Health System. The hospital was founded in 1999.

Tony Packo's Cafe is a restaurant that started in the Hungarian neighborhood of Birmingham, on the east side of Toledo, Ohio, at 1902 Front Street. Starting in 1932, the restaurant became famous when it was mentioned in several M*A*S*H episodes and is noted for its signature sandwich and large collection of hot dog buns signed by celebrities.

WRVF (101.5 FM "The River") is a commercial radio station in Toledo, Ohio, owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. It broadcasts an adult contemporary radio format, switching to all-Christmas music for much of November and December. WRVF carries the syndicated Delilah music and call-in show in the evening. The signal covers parts of Ohio and Michigan, getting into the Detroit metropolitan area, as well as a small chunk of Ontario. The station broadcasts using HD Radio technology. The HD2 digital subchannel simulcasts the talk radio format of co-owned WSPD 1370 AM.
