Inchtavannach

Aldochlay is a small hamlet in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, on the shore of Loch Lomond opposite the island of Inchtavannach and just south of Luss. It was formerly part of Dunbartonshire, but is now part of Argyll and Bute. The hamlet has no speed limit sign, due to it being a quiet hamlet. It is known to many people for the small statue of a boy on a plinth in the loch.

Fraoch Eilean is a small island in Loch Lomond, Scotland. Its name means "heather island" in Scottish Gaelic. It is near Luss on the mainland, and according to legend, was used as its prison, indeed on Charles Ross's 1792 Plan of Dunbartonshire, Loch Lomond and its Environs, Fraoch Eilean is marked as "Luss Prison".It is covered in heather and brambles.

Inchconnachan (Innis Chonachain in Gaelic, meaning 'The Colquhoun's Island') is an island in Loch Lomond in Scotland, in the Trossachs National Park. It is accessible by boat from the village of Luss on the south side of the Loch. The island is uninhabited and is an Area of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.

Shore Cottage is a building in Luss, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. A Category C listed cottage dating from the early to mid-19th century, it overlooks the western shore of Loch Lomond to the south of Luss village. It is the only building on the southern stretch of the shore path; between the cottage and the village are the back gardens of the properties on Church Road to the west. As of 2021, the cottage is the home of The Clan Shop.

Luss Parish Church is a Church of Scotland church in Luss, Argyll and Bute, dedicated to Saint Kessog. The present church building was constructed in 1875 and subject to major restoration works in 2001. The building became notable during the 1980s as the parish church of the fictional village of Glendarroch in the popular television series Take the High Road. The church site has had 1,500 years of continuous Christian presence, being founded by Saint Kessog, and has fifteen listed ancient monuments in its graveyard. The church has in recent times embraced the internet, broadcasting its services online and inviting, in exception to usual Church practice, outsiders to take advantage of the picturesque location on the banks of Loch Lomond for weddings, of which 153 were held in 2009. Notable weddings to have been held at the church include that of Kirsty Hume to Donovan Leitch, Noel Edmonds to Helen Soby and Sarah Heaney to Ed Adams. The church is a significant site for religious tourism, with over 2,000 people visiting the church on busy summer days, contributing £5 million per annum to the local economy. It is estimated to receive 750,000 visitors a year, in a parish with a population of only 400.The church celebrated 1,500 years of worship in 2010 by opening a new visitors centre for Luss after the National Parks Authority sold its building to Purdies, a Scottish natural soap producer.

It is a Category C listed building, dating to the early 19th century.The building, a single-storey cottage located on Church Road, dates to the early 19th century and has later alterations and additions. A notable feature is its twelve-pane timber sash and case windows.

Two of the five are on the northern side of the street; three on the southern.

It was formerly the village post office.The building, a single-storey structure located on Pier Road, is a rectangular plan with apsidal ends. It is made of stugged pink sandstone ashlar with painted ashlar margins. It has projecting bracketed eaves and a broad corniced chimney stack with a single circular can.The building is shown on the first-edition Ordnance Survey map, surveyed in 1864.

Pier Road is a street in Luss, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Located on Loch Lomond's western shore, the road, which is on an east–west alignment, consists of around twenty buildings, many of which are listed cottages dating from the 19th century.The building closest to the Luss Pier, at the head of Pier Road, is a whitewashed cottage that is currently the home of Highland Art Studios.The building housing Luss General Store is a Category C listed building dating to the early or mid-19th century.Opposite the western end of the road is the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel (formerly the Colquhoun Arms Hotel). The property was purchased by Luss Estates in 2012.
