Green Creek (Ohio)

Junundat, alternatively known as Junandot, Ayonontout, and Sunyendeand, was a Wyandot Indian village located at the mouth of the Sandusky River, near modern-day Wightmans Grove, Ohio. Junundat was founded in 1739 by a tribe of Wyandots moving south from the vicinity of Detroit under the leadership of Nicholas Orontony, after migrating to escape the aggressive Ottawa tribe. The village was a hub for trade in the region, until it was abandoned in 1747 following French aggression.

They are currently members of the Sandusky Bay Conference. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 550 students. There were 210 students (38.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 47 (8.5% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Port Clinton is a city in and the county seat of Ottawa County, Ohio, United States, located at the mouth of the Portage River on Lake Erie. The population was 6,025 at the 2020 census. It is the principal city of the Port Clinton micropolitan area, about 34 miles (55 km) southeast of Toledo. The city has been nicknamed the "Walleye Capital of the World", due to the productive fishing waters for the species lying offshore in Lake Erie's Western Basin. The annual Walleye Drop on New Year's Eve in downtown Port Clinton reflects this nickname.

Erie Proving Ground is a decommissioned United States Army facility. Originally a camp to train gunners, the facility's foundation was due to the Spanish–American War's lack of skilled riflemen. The facility was located in Ottawa County, Ohio. The facility was established in 1918 originally as Camp Perry Proving Ground. The facility was at various times named Erie Ordnance Depot and Erie Army Depot. During World War II over 5,000 people ended up being employed there. The employed people were testing various weapon systems, armor, and such during World War II. During peacetime it served as a storage, maintenance, and repair facility. Erie Proving Ground closed in January 1967.

Camp Perry is a National Guard training facility located on the shore of Lake Erie in northern Ohio near Port Clinton. In addition to its regular mission as a military training base, Camp Perry also boasts the second largest outdoor rifle range in the world after the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. The firing is done in the direction of the open water of the lake, that lies just beyond an earthen berm and the targets.

St. Thomas' Episcopal Church (St. Thomas' Guild Hall ; St. Thomas' Rectory) is a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio. Its historic Gothic Revival style church, at 214 E. Second Street in Port Clinton, Ohio, was built in 1896. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
