Maple Heights, Ohio

Maple Heights High School is a public high school located in Maple Heights, Ohio, southeast of Cleveland, Ohio. It graduated its first class in 1925. It was the first high school in America to offer a credit class in popular culture studies, created in 1975. It also offered a broadcast journalism class, Television Journalism, which produced a long-running public-access television cable TV program entitled Maple Schools Today, which ran on several Cleveland Ohio cable outlets from 1984 through 2002. A completely new high school building opened in 2013, replacing one that dated back 90 years. A new stadium with artificial turf and an all-weather track opened in 2014.

The Lamson House is located at 241 Center Road in Bedford, Ohio. It was built in 1899 for William F. Lamson. The Lamson Family were wealthy and prominent land owners in Bedford. It was designed by architect Sidney Badgley. It is one of the few residential properties designed by Sidney Badgley that is still standing and occupied, as most have been razed due to abandonment, neglect, or age.

Lee Road–Shaker Heights was a former park and ride railroad station along Lee Road (just south of Miles Avenue (Route 43)) in the Lee-Miles neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. The station was located on the Erie Railroad's Mahoning Division, which ran from Pymatuning, Pennsylvania to Cleveland. The station was first opened on November 22, 1948, by the Erie Railroad as a park and ride for commuters, with a parking lot and connections to bus and taxi. The station remained in service along the commuter line to Cleveland, which persisted after all passenger service was cut in the state of Ohio after January 5–6, 1970, when The Lake Cities last ran from Hoboken Terminal in Hoboken, New Jersey to Dearborn Station in Chicago, Illinois. The commuter train between Cleveland and Youngstown, Ohio was ended with the run of Train 28 by the Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail) on January 14, 1977. The station depot and canopy remain at the station site, but the roof has since caved in on the depot.

Lee–Miles is a historical area on the Southeast side of Cleveland, Ohio, comprising the two neighborhoods of Lee–Harvard and Lee–Seville. Once an independent municipality known as Miles Heights, it was annexed by Cleveland after a referendum in 1932. Today, it most corresponds to Cleveland's Ward 1. A mostly middle-class African American neighborhood, Lee–Miles is bordered by the suburban cities of Shaker Heights to the north, Warrensville Heights to the east, Maple Heights to the south, Garfield Heights to the southwest and Cleveland's Union–Miles Park neighborhood to the northwest.

Saint Peter Chanel High School was a Catholic high school located in Bedford, Ohio, United States, from 1957 to 2013. The school was closed by the Cleveland Catholic Diocese following a drastic, decreasing trend in enrollment.

Bedford Baptist Church (also known as Old Bedford Baptist Church or Bedford Community Building) is a historic church built in a Gothic Revival style. The church currently serves as a community building for the city. It was built in 1893, and added to the National Register in 2002.

Randall Park Mall was a shopping mall located in the village of North Randall, Ohio, United States. It opened on August 11, 1976 on the site of what used to be the Randall Park Race Track. After over a decade of decline, it closed on March 12, 2009. The former Dillard's store and interior of the mall were demolished in 2015 to make way for an industrial park, and the remaining anchor tenants were demolished in 2017 after they all closed down. Amazon built a new distribution center on the site in 2018.

Hoban Dominican High School was one of seven all-female Catholic high school located in Cleveland, Ohio. It was located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. The academic environment provided a 12 to 1 student to faculty ratio with an average of 23 students per class. 96% of Hoban Dominican students were Catholic and represented over 70 parishes.
