The Seven Hills School is a PreK–12 private school in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1974 with roots dating back to 1906 and operates on two campuses; Hillsdale (PreK–12) and Doherty (PreK–5). It is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

Shroder Paideia High School, also known as Shroder Paideia Academy or Shroder High School, is a public junior high and high school (7-12) located in the Madisonville neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Cincinnati Public Schools. The school is a team-based magnet school dedicated to the Paideia philosophy. The Paideia philosophy is based upon the belief that all students can be successful in a rigorous college preparatory curriculum. Their classroom instruction includes direct, didactic teaching, coaching activities and in-depth seminar discussions.

The 1963 U.S. Women's Open was the 18th U.S. Women's Open, held July 18–20 at Kenwood Country Club, northeast of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mary Mills, age 23, won her only U.S. Women's Open title, three strokes ahead of runners-up Louise Suggs and Sandra Haynie. It was the first of nine victories on the LPGA Tour for Mills and the first of her three major titles. Retired tennis pro Althea Gibson, age 35, became the first African American to play in a U.S. Women's Open. She shot 78 and 82 for 160 (+14) and missed the cut by a stroke. Three-time champion Mickey Wright did not play, opting for dental work, which she had originally planned to have done the previous week. Wright returned in 1964 to win her fourth title. Defending champion Murle Lindstrom tied for seventh. The championship was played the same week as the PGA Championship, which concluded on Sunday.

The Kroger Queen City Championship Presented By P&G, is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It was founded in 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The tournament is televised by the Golf Channel.Ally Ewing won the inaugural event with a final round 66 that included five straight birdies on the back-nine. It was the first time in over 30 years that an LPGA Tour event was played in southwest Ohio. The tournament increased its purse from $1.75 million to $2.0 million on May 16, 2023.

Kennedy Heights Park is an urban park in the Kennedy Heights neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The 12.4-acre (5.0 ha) park was established in 1930. It features an historic 1937 shelter, playground and soccer field.

Madison–Stewart Historic District is a historic district in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and contains twelve contributing buildings.

Eastwood Historic District is a registered historic district in Cincinnati, Ohio, listed in the National Register of Historic Places on February 25, 2005. It contains 86 contributing buildings. One of the unique aspects of the district are 10 models of kit houses from the Sears Modern Homes catalog.

The United American Cemetery is the oldest African-American cemetery in Ohio, located on Duck Creek Road in Cincinnati, Ohio and founded in 1844 by the United Colored American Association. Among those interred at the cemetery who are notable are Horace Sudduth, an early twentiethcentury real estate speculator and owner of the Manse Hotel in Walnut Hills, and John Isom Gaines, a black educator. This cemetery is located in Section 23 of Columbia Township. The entrance is on the north side of Duck Creek Road, about 1500 feet east of Kennedy Avenue. The cemetery encompasses 11.5 acres. By the middle of the twentieth century the cemetery became increasingly neglected. A group of plot owners sued the cemetery association in 1956. The courts appointed a new board to operate the cemetery but the board was unable to convince plot owners to pay for perpetual care which would generate funds for ongoing cemetery maintenance. In 1968 the cemetery was transferred to Union Baptist Church.

Madisonville is one of the 52 neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio. Established in 1809 and annexed in 1911, it is located in the northeastern part of the city. The population was 17,898 at the 2020 census.

Meier's Wine Cellars is a winery in Silverton, Ohio. The company began in 1895 as the John C. Meier Grape Juice Company, Inc. and bottled juice from grapes grown in what is now the Kenwood Towne Centre. Drawn by the presence of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, the company purchased land in Silverton and began making wine in addition to juice. The company became the largest winery in Ohio. In 1976 the winery was purchased by Paramount Distillers, which retained the Meier's name and kept members of the Meier family as consultants. In 1980 the company acquired Lonz Wines, a winery on Middle Bass Island, one of the last places in Ohio where grapes were still grown. Today the company continues producing 45 kinds of wine and grape juices.
